The Dome Away from Home is such an amazing property!!! I could go on and on about what an ideal place it is. The unique architecture is so cool and makes use of every square inch of space. It clearly was recently renovated; everything is new and very well appointed. Despite being a dome shape, the interior is bright and airy, full of light! We had our large family staying there, including small kids, teens, and adults, and the space worked beautifully with plenty of room and privacy. The house is abundantly stocked with linens and kitchen supplies, and the appliances are new and high-end. We hosted a graduation brunch, and the kitchen more than accommodated cooking for a crowd, with the interior and exterior spaces perfect for dining. The house is immaculate in all ways. The yard is gorgeous, well tended, and such a respite in the middle of the busy suburbs. I cannot recommend this property highly enough! It's not only a unique experience but also a wonderful rental property. We will be back many times!!!

We’ve stayed here several times and it’s always a great experience. The house is clean and well stocked. Amber always responds quickly. House is close to whatever you need but back off the road so it feels secluded. Try to arrive during daylight because it is a bit hard to find at night.

Really nice place for us as a family of four visiting relatives in Naperville. Everything very well set up, clean and more spacious than pictures may seem. We made dinner a few times, kitchen is very functional, beds are comfortable and garden is really nice.

Very nice rental. My only complaint is in a property this nice I think there should be name brand toilet paper and Kleenex. The stuff provided were the absolute cheapest you can buy!! Overall a good rental experience.

Dome Away from Home is set in a tranquil wooded garden and reminded us of a Hobbit House. Amber was very easy to work with and she communicated information in a timely manner. The home was very clean. The bathrooms had large bath towels. The kitchen was well equipped for our family's cooking needs. Our family enjoyed the back deck and garden, and we all got a good night's sleep. We have this home on our list for any time that we return.

His house is very beautiful and comfortable. He has a big yard. Regarding cleanliness, everything inside was in order and clean, but the grill was very dirty and had very little gas for cooking. We had to clean the outside table because it was very dirty and I don't mean dust because it would be normal. It has that up to 11 people can enter and when I paid for the house, he told me that a maximum of only 8 can enter, counting the children and within the requirements is not to put more people in and has a camera outside are points that should be provided before renting.

What a great place to stay...so unique on the outside and so incredibly updated and functional on the inside. Updated, lovely decor....seems like brand new kitchen/bathrooms, full washer/dryer. Beautiful grounds with lovely scenery. You'd never know the place is right in town and so convenient to everything. We had a perfect stay. Owner was also very responisve to a few questions. This property is a hidden gem for anyone looking to stay in the Chicagoland area. It is conveniently located with easy access to the Metra line for those who want to venture downtown (spare yourself the hassle of traffic and parking!)--it is a pleasant 1 hour commute on the train--and is close to grocery stores and restaurants, as well as other activities (e.g., golf courses). The property is the perfect place to unwind after a day in the city; the house is secluded in a wooded area that is quiet and peaceful. They have plenty of outdoor seating so that you can enjoy the beautiful landscaping and birds. In sum, we highly recommend this property.

We had a great stay at this home. The house is tucked away with a beautiful lawn and porch to sit on. Loved watching the birds and squirrels. We stayed in the room upstairs which has a very low ceiling (watch your head) and was rather warm even with the A/C on but the fans helped. There was no dresser drawers upstairs so if you are using all three rooms be aware that you will need to leave your luggage on the floor. Overall, however, the house was great for a quick weekend trip.

The photos did not do this home justice, it was even more beautiful in person! The patio and patio furniture was so comfortable, plenty of seating. The backyard was an absolute oasis. It felt nice and secluded even though it was right in town and close to everything. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

The property felt private in the woods yet close to the town’s amenities. The architecture was neat and still felt open. The upstairs loft area was perfect for kids to hang out while adults were downstairs. We plan to reserve again when in the area.

Bad from the beginning! This property is not exactly easy to find when you put in your maps it does not take you to the correct location that’s because it is basically in Woodridge. We had multiple people try to find it and almost all call for help. If you do stay here put the address in as Woodridge it will then show up. It has extremely uncomfortable couch and chairs in the living room, it is in a secluded wooded area but it’s very muddy. The deck off the back is in poor dangerously poor shape and basically falling over. I was overlooking all these things until on the second day we noticed a extremely bad smell of sewer gas. It would come and go and we did get used to it but we rented this over Xmas and when we had anyone walk-in they noticed it. If you run the dishwasher, washing machine and use the bathrooms it becomes stronger. We had some guests leave because it was so bad. I did contact the property manager the after Xmas day to let them know, I asked for a partial refund and they have refused. I would not recommend this home there are much better options in the area.

Loved this cute house! It is much bigger inside than the pictures show. The loft is a large space with TV, desk and chairs and our grandchildren enjoyed playing in this space. We had family over for dinner and the table fit 6 of us easily. It looks totally secluded but the main road is at the end of the driveway, so it’s a quick drive to restaurants, groceries, etc. House was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The manager, Amber, was always available with a quick response.

This unique and beautiful geodesic dome is deceptively large with 3 large bedrooms that comfortably accommodated 6 adults and 3 children (ages 5 months, 3 and 5 years). Nice kitchen and ample living space. Conveniently located near I-355. We loved our stay.
