Waanzinnig grote en mooie lodge. Hebben echt op de details gelet. Kamers ook erg mooi met zelfs een bad op het terras.
Wij waren er begin februari. Het is dan laag seizoen in de Western Coridor. De weg naar de lodge (na een minder fijne hoofdweg) is erg mooi. Alleen in dit seizoen staat de rivier hoog, wat betekende dat we onze auto bij een loopbrug moesten achterlaten en na de brug met een auto van de lodge verder zijn gereisd (goede service overigens). We bleken de enige gasten te zijn in deze enorme lodge).

Incredible staff and infrastructure, the rooms are literally in the wild around a small hill. The restaurant, the welcome area, the pool, the bar and the chalets are all top notch. Great value for the money in my opinion. We should have stayed longer.
It's inside the Serengeti Park, so note the entry fee/night fee and so on you need to stay. This has nothing to do with Mbalageti, so it's not a negative.
Maybe a bit far away from the main roads, e.g. for usual gamedrives, but a great spot when crossing from east to west or when being driven (we were doing self drive safaris) after a long day.

The food was exceptional; the accommodation superb; and the staff were wonderful and very eager to
assist and make sure we were comfortable and happy. Very good value for money in an excellent setting overlooking the Serengeti Plains.
