This was the most disappointing apartment that I have experienced in the past decade in the EU
The location of the property, and its proximity to the motorway network was a definite plus. There are some really nice places to visit close by if you have the time.
The 'apartment' was dowdy, tired and uncared for and not especially clean. It had one hob for cooking and a kettle. No microwave or other facilities for cooking. The fridge was on the other side of the apartment from the galley-kitchen. The lighting, indeed the electrical fittings all around the parts of the accomodation were distinctly suspect. Fittings not attached to the ceiling, others with bare ends (which may not have been live!) and others, near the shower which ends were covered with carpet tape. The WiFi was not consistent. The neighbours were noisy. The temperature was high in the sleeping area with no obvious means of controlling it. Simply opening the window was not a viable option given that there is a main road and a tramline immediately outside - with traffic lights close by, which provided entertainment from the car radios waitiung for a green light. The parking is on-street and there is a competition for the limited space available.
