About this house rental
It’s Five O’clock Somewhere is a well maintained lakefront home located in the Lakeside Estates community close to the well known Cedar Creek Jumping Bridge. It is in a protected, no wake, SEASONAL (April 1st - mid-October) DEEP WATER COVE on beautiful Norris Lake. This 4 ½ story, 4000 square-foot home provides 9 bedrooms and 5 1/2 bathrooms and sleeps 22 (up to 18 adults). There is ample indoor and outdoor seating for meals and gatherings.
- Two-story covered dock with a slide which can accommodate up to 3 boats, 1 covered.
- Three large 30 foot outdoor decks,
- Indoor fireplace and an outdoor fire pit.
- 6 person hot tub.
- Gas grill and griddle for big group cooking.
MAIN LEVEL
Full kitchen with a pantry and eating bar that is completely stocked for family cooking and eating.
Granite dining table seats 12-14 with additional counter seating.
The family room has a vaulted ceiling with two-story windows, stone fireplace with gas logs, three couches and a 55 inch Smart TV and surround sound.
There is a King bedroom with another Smart TV on this level and one full bathroom.
UPSTAIRS
The upper level has two King bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and each room has a private sink and vanity, They share a Jack and Jill bath/shower and toilet.
Top level crow’s nest has two Twin beds and a half bath. It is the perfect environment for children to have their own private getaway.
LOWER LEVELS
The lower level is an amazing retreat that includes another spacious area with a 55 inch Smart TV.
Game room with pool table/ping-pong table and dart board.
Kitchenette with another full refrigerator, microwave, and commercial ice maker.
King bedroom
Bedroom with two Full size beds.
Full bathroom.
The lowest walk-out level has the third television/gaming and sitting area.
Two Queen bedrooms.
Two full bathrooms.
Bunk room (two Twins over Fulls).

All levels have gorgeous lake views.
The private dock provides all day fun and easy access to your own boats. It is close to the Jumping Bridge and Sugar Hollow Marina. It provides a water paradise in the summer but is also a wonderful retreat year-round. The autumn leaves are colorful, and it is a cozy gathering place for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. Also a great location for hiking and ATV trails during fall and winter.
It's 5 O'clock Somewhere is situated in Lakeside Estates on 188 acres of scenic mountain land and surrounded by a private cove on Norris Lake. Lakeside Estates features a gated entrance, pool, walking trail, private boat ramp, boat trailer parking, city water, and is minutes from several full service marinas and restaurants.
This part of the lake is considered seasonal water and prior to April and after October 1st our cove can look more like a river than a lake. There is no guarantee that you'll have access to the dock during this time, but the boat launch is available year round.
This is a NON SMOKING home. Minimum age is 28 years to rent.

From the time we walked in we relaxed. Everything was clean. We had enough room to spread out and just enjoy being together. When you live in Florida you forget how beautiful Tennessee is. There are a lot of stairs but even my 90 year old dad made it down to the lake. We are talking about doing it again next year.

Plenty of room for 4 families. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable, pillows could have been better so bring your own. The dock was great, very clean with trek decking so no splinters! There are 80 steps from the dock to the kitchen so not a house for the unfit. No boat traffic in this dead end cove which is nice, but also a little noisy due to 10 docks full of families in one place.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this location. Everything was just as listed. The only part that was challenging was the parking, It's very tight and close to a cement retaining wall. The kitchen was fully stocked and the dishes were in good condition. In the past we brought our own dishws due to poor cookware so we appreciated that. Would definitely stay here again.
