Oceanfront Penthouse, Two-Story, 3 Bedrooms

Cleaned it again before I left as it was nasty when we got there. I snapped pictures before I left.We enjoyed our time in MB and had an overall good stay. I’ll start with the positives. The penthouse has excellent views, which were definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Communication with the rental team was outstanding. They respond quickly through Booking and were very easy to reach whenever we had questions. The location is also very convenient, with plenty of restaurants, attractions, and activities within walking distance (about a mile or less). Adults should have no problem walking to most places, though younger children may need a stroller or some extra encouragement. The property provides plenty of bath towels, washcloths, and hand towels. While beach towels are not provided, I did notice a beach umbrella and a couple of chairs available in the closet of the first bedroom. Now for the areas that could use improvement. The unit could benefit from a thorough deep cleaning. It was noticeably dusty in several areas, and it felt as though housekeeping was doing only the minimum required cleaning between guests. There is also a musty odor throughout the unit. I suspect management is aware of this issue, as there are plug-in air fresheners throughout the property. The unit is showing its age and could use some updating. The furniture feels inexpensive, and the decor is sparse. The bedrooms do not have overhead lighting, relying instead on small lamps. The lamp in the upstairs bedroom was falling apart and did not work, even after changing the light bulb. There is visible damage in the upstairs bathroom that has been marked with masking tape but appears to have been left unrepaired. Additionally, the ice maker in the freezer was not functioning, and the front-loading washing machine has a strong odor and is in need of a thorough cleaning.

I love the price of the property .

It was a smell however I managed .

Everything was ok just needs a little updating.

Location and price were great. The condo is a little dated.

The bed pillows were rock hard. Half the outlets in the bedrooms don’t work. The condo door didn’t lock.
