Villa Rousseau

La vue est magnifique (la photo du premier jour -nuageux- ne met pas la vue en valeur comme c’est le cas les jours ensoleillés ou la vue donne sur la mer d’un bleu magnifique). L’appartement est impeccable. Un énorme merci à Alison pour son accueil, ainsi qu’à son équipe, toujours à l’écoute pour que tout se passe parfaitement. Merci Alison pour ta disponibilité et l’aide pour la location de voiture et ton aide y compris après mon séjour dans l’appartement, démontrant un réel intérêt pour les gens, qui ne sont pas que des clients, merci. L’équipement de l’appartement est complet. Douches impeccables et grandes. Vraiment top.

Probablement une erreur dans booking, c’était indiqué comme maison complète mais c’est un appartement complet dans une villa de deux étages : nous étions dans l’appartement du premier étage (et la vue de la photo booking doit correspondre à l’appartement au deuxième étage). Qu’il y ait un autre appartement à l’étage supérieur implique d’avoir des voisins au dessus, qu’on entend donc s’ils marchent pieds nus en tapant des talons, ou mettent de la musique sur leur balcon - ce qui reste tout à fait normal lorsque c’est un appartement mais booking m’avait induit en erreur avec « maison 2 chambres ». Descriptif à corriger à mon avis.

Wir haben uns in der Villa Rousseau sehr wohlgefühlt. Sie ist wunderschön und modern eingerichtet und die Aussicht vom Balkon ist einfach unbeschreiblich. Ein persönliches Highlight war für uns das Frühstück, das jeden Morgen (gegen einen Aufpreis) frisch zubereitet wurde und das wir anschliessend auf dem Balkon mit der tollen Aussicht geniessen konnten. Auch unsere Gastgeberin Madame Rousseau war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie stellte uns Strandhandtücher zur Verfügung, war jederzeit gut erreichbar und erkundigte sich immer wieder nach unserem Befinden. Wir haben uns während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts sehr willkommen und wohlgefühlt und würden die Villa Rousseau auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

The property was very clean and close to supermarkets.l really loved the bathrooms there were super spacious and had good lightning.I was impressed with the sitting area outside with a swing and the view of the ocean

Location/house property: First we were totally shocked that on the ground they were actually building a new building, right there in the garden of the house we had rented. The noise and dust was extreme, all day along with 15 workers just on the outside at our windows, so we had to keep all curtains closed all day in every room to have some sort of privacy. Dark all day, great! The house itself: very dirty bedrooms, (just the beds had been done), barely cleaned kitchen, old couch with sheets on it, cupboards: excrements of animals everywhere, also on the floors of the bedrooms. One room was particularly stinking, it was impossible to enter it, use it even though we tried cleaning it, totally impossible to stay in that room. Furnitures are eaten up by wood worms, not possible to use any of the cupboards, besides the disgust of animal dejection. We told the owner about all these problems and she pretended to look at it, I’m not sure about that. It’s not a recent problem, it’s a long due issue with this house. One of us got bad red spots all over the body, itching at night when in bed. I don’t want to know when the mattress was changed last time.... Hearing what the „cleaner“ who actually just talks for hours on the phone with her friends and relatives rather than cleaning the house, the stories from her side about the owner were eyebrow raising to shocking. I cannot judge as she had no good words to lose about the owner, but it proves the total mismanagement and disaster of this property. And yet, a second to come, so I assume the owner is making very good money by leaving things as they are....! We know it‘s a business, but seeing the pictures and then finding out what you actually get was just too, too far apart from each other. Not a relaxed stay at all and unfortunately bad nights due to disgust and impossibility to use the location as would be „normal“ or just „human“.
