Panorama Guesthouse Apartments Beau Vallon Beach

This was very central with views over to the beach and sea beyond.

Very noisy in the area until around midnight. But don’t let this put you off as the location outweighs the down side.

Everything! This is the best place in all of Seychelles in my opinion - for the price. You literally just leave your room and you are at the beautiful Beau Vallon beach. Tons of restaurants around - and shopping. Good vibes all round. Mary and her gentleman are kind and wonderful hosts. They were always available and eager to help. The place is clean and tidy and everything works properly. I'll be back!

One tiny thing: The WiFi. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. The WiFi is decent in some places, but it was non-existent in our rooms. Whenever I was in my room and had to make a phone call or do work, i had to leave the comfort of my room to go to the sitting room or outside the apartment where the WiFi is better. Another Nigerian we met at the guesthouse also mentioned that the WiFi at his apartment was not the best. It was a tiny inconvenience sometimes but not something to worry too much about.

Proximity to the beach and Bars . Sea view from the Balcony with the sounds of the waves . it was so close it was surreal . lots of outside seating space with the beach view .clean atmosphere

Better Logistics or Transport . i suggest daily ride ( Timely Pickup and Drop off) to the center for groceiries and daily rides to Victoria

-quite a good location- close to the beach (however, it’s not a beachfront as advertised), close to restaurants, shops, and a bus stop that can take you to Victoria -the owner facilitated a smooth transfer to a cheaper room on a checkout day for a late checkout -the owner booked us a taxi from jetty and was responsive -the condition of the furniture and equipment in the apartment

-not a beachfront- you need to walk a few minutes one way or another choosing to walk over quite a busy road with no pavements or to walk over a dirty stream of water -little privacy- the terrace faces the front of the accommodation and is right next to the reception/house of the owner’s family (?). There were people walking to their rooms frequently and many noises coming from the house - sneezing, clearing throat- it was quite difficult to relax, and there is no space at the back of the apartment -although it is mentioned on booking that the accommodation is smoke free, this should be highlighted clearly- smoking is NOT permitted even at the terrace/balcony or at the back of the property- a person travelling with me had to walk to the other side of the premises and it was particularly challenging when it was raining as there is no alternative space for smokers -strict rules making it difficult to relax, we were briefed by the owner’s mother on the rules upon arrival and made sign an agreement- e.g. rinse your feet of the sand in front of the property before going to your apartment, don’t wash swimming costume in the washing machine “because they are difficult to get in Seychelles”. I was questioned if and who smokes in my group which was quite intrusive. There are more rules inside the apartment. All of them are common sense things which we would normally do anyway, however, having these spelled out felt condescending and, again, made it difficult to relax.
