Quiet, nice, could be perfect

Spotlessly clean, quiet, friendly welcome. This is an apartment above Robin's garage, which sounds unusual but is fine. Centrally located, close to nice restaurants, takeaways and supermarkets.

The double bed is low and uncomfortable, not a great nights sleep, the grouting and bath panel needs attention. However the biggest issue with our stay was payment terms. Booking.com listing should have it clear before you book that the host only accepts cash and bank transfer. We only found this out day of arrival. Our plan was to put travel and accommodation on our credit card and spending money by cash, however this nearly cleared out our spending money which put a sour taste at the end of our trip. A sumup machine is easy to get.

Robins Rest to rest your tired "wings"

The house is right in the centre of the town, perfect location. It had everything you needed to cook. It was comfy. A real home away from home. We were up visiting friends, and everything you need is literally on the doorstep, including a beautiful park and endless beautiful cafes serving gorgeous cakes. The visitors book had such lovely previous comments that I could have taken up the whole book with positivity from myself and my family. Communications with Roboin were outstanding, always checking in on us, making sure we were all good, and the bed and sofa bed were comfy. I am genuinely glad I chose Robins Rest and will be going back in the future.

We were greeted by the owner to hand over the keys who was available if we needed anything.

The location was great, the flat was a good size with good kitchen equipment.

The pillows in the bedroom were uncomfortable and would have been a better sleep if they were changed. The bath needs fresh sealant as there is quite a bit of mould on the existing sealant.

Didn't quite meet expectations

Very friendly welcome from the host. Short walk to local shops and restaurants

Didn't really meet the expectation of accommodation labelled as luxury. The bathroom in particular was very disappointing, both relating to finish, around the bath and skirting. Bath plug doesn't fit properly not obvious until lying in it. Only way to stop water leaking out was to keep your hand.or foot on.it so mot relaxing at all

Lovely little flat, good value for money, friendly hosts

We were grateful for helpful, friendly and patient communication. The flat is well equipped and offers very good value for money. Shops and restaurants nearby. We didn’t want to stay in bigger cities so Auchterarder was perfect for day trips. We can recommend Robin‘s Rest.

Not a huge problem, but the stairs are rather steep and not baby-safe.

The place to stay in Auchterarder

The property is in a private location which central to Auchterarder with off road safe parking . The apartment is extremely well stocked with everything you could need. It’s a great spot for exploring Scotland. Robin the owner goes out his way to ensure everything is ok but then leaves you alone. I can’t recommend this accommodation enough, we will 100% be returning.

Very welcoming host who gave us flexibility with the check in. Perfect location near the high street and local walks. Fully equipped, warm and cosy. Great shower!
