Excellent service, staff are very kind and helpful. Both restaurants within the hotel were very high quality. Rooms are spacious, well designed and comfortable.

Clean, beautiful interior design, large rooms, nice pools, nice beach, incredible food with a wide selection. Special thanks to Katarina, the restaurant manager, Jenny with the amazing red hair, costas, Erina, Thomas the hotel manager and others who all made our stay a 5 star experience! They’re a delightful crew of hard working employees who radiate positivity and passion for what they do! Thank you to all the staff across the property who clean daily, set all the tables, prepare the food and sun lounges, your work doesn’t go unnoticed and it’s highly appreciated! I love that it’s generally pretty quiet despite the many children roaming around. And the ‘Hilton Cat’ was definitely the star of the show wandering around entertaining guests.

The property can be complex to navigate, no direct access to get down from your room unless you wait for the inclinator/funicular. Signage is incredibly poor to guide you around the property if you take the stairs (a simple fix!) in this ‘ rabbit warren’ . The beach has rusty nails on the timber pathways on the sand and we witnessed a child falling onto them. The property doesn’t have direct beach access but they do provide a shuttle (5mins) every half hour. A major issue is the restaurant in the afternoon.. there is no sun protection and you simply ‘cook’ sitting in the hot sun. I think installing electric blinds to cover the outside area and some umbrellas would allow guest to enjoy their dinner without the intense sun. Like all hotels on Crete, you’ll have to throw the loo paper in the bin. Half board doesn’t include water/tap water so you’ll need to buy that, which was a bit disappointing when other similar hotels offer that as standard. They do however provide bottled water in your room and on the beach.

Never felt the facility was clean and was led to beleive that it was on a beachfront, in actuality you had to catch a bus to a very bad beach
