A great location and a comfy stay on the Camino.

How come this property is not rated higher I don’t know! From its location overlooking the river and beautiful Vila do conde to the hotel implacably restored and in keeping with the traditions of the area in the materials used. I have never slept so well mattress was excellent and no noise and I generally don’t sleep well in hotels. Hotel is surrounded by restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy great food. This is not a hotel chain if you need breakfast there is plenty of options. Fabulous stay if I can I will come back! 5 stars rating

The location is amazing, especially for Camino pilgrims. It was spotless and the room was great.

When we arrived there was no one there and no number to call. Luckily someone working at the restaurant let us in. At 3 am we were woken by loud music. In the morning making coffee in the hall is not ideal and also loud for other guests. Only breakfast was a packaged muffin. Worst part is that we never saw any staff and we got locked into our room (101) and no one could help. Finally after 30 min the door unlocked but a very frustrating experience.
