Location & cosy
Bathroom is a little grubby and needs work

We enjoyed the atmosphere, location, cleanliness and of course the fireplace. We loved show the birds put on for us while we sat on the balcony. It was a really cosy and peaceful stay.
The facilities were fair. Unfortunately we could not get comfortable in the bed as it was an incredibly soft mattress.
It was difficult to heat the room and cold without having to run the heating all night.
The wifi was disappointing. It was slow and we needed to use our hotspot on our phones to watch a movie. Given the nightly rate we expected wifi to work.

It was so lovely to be close to town, nicely decorated. We had all the provisions we needed.
The shower head wasn’t great to wash shampoo out of long hair, took at while for the rain shower head..
Going from a king bed, then sleeping in a double was too cosy.. then electric blanket didn’t work. Very lucky we had the heaters.

Enough space for 2. And it allowed pets so we could bring our cavoodle pup with us.
The bedroom, bathroom and kitchen were clean.
The living room was dirty. There were noticeable spider webs in every corner of the living room and that room was covered in dust. When we sat on the couch, puff of dust flew and affected my allergies. Ended up sitting in dining chairs the whole trip.
Based on this it wasn’t worth the money we paid.
