It is not worth to stay with the price paid.

Location is ok but not a quiet. A public parking in front of the property blocks views.

The host lady was good at communicating. I send messages ahead of time without any response. When we arrived there was one came to meet us as it supposed to. The room has mosquitoes and they did not prepared insects repellent for us until the next night I asked to.

This place is awesome! We loved being right on the beach- even parking right there!! Seeing the sunset right outside our terrace was perfect. Our hostess was extremely nice also. I can’t say enough good things about this place!

Many Booking ads in Zadar say they are beachfront when they are actually hundreds of meters from the water. This was right on the ocean. The host met us upon arrival and was very kind. she brought us coffee and cookies.

The beach was on a dirt road and is open to the public so sometimes in the evenings there were loud groups of people. I also wish there were screens on the windows because the mosquitos can be a menace when trying to sleep.

Beautiful apartment with a beautiful view! Excellent value and great hosts!

The location is beautiful! It’s right on the beach, and the gardens are superb. The air conditioning worked well. There is only one AC unit, in the living room, but it cooled the house well enough for the bedroom to be nicely cooled. There’s a washer in the unit, which was very helpful for me after two weeks of vacation. I hung my clothes outside on the rack on the porch and they were dry enough the next morning. The shower water pressure is excellent and the water was nice and hot. The owners are very kind and sweet and were very patient with me about everything because I had driven all day and was tired and anxious when I arrived. But they quickly put me at ease, and so did the lovely apartment and view. There’s a coffee shop/bar, grocery store, and ATM a short 5 minute walk, past the apartment, on the beach (take a right outside the front gate). The apartment is about a 20 minute drive into the old town area where the sea organ is, along streets that are literally right on the water. The entire town is gorgeous. I’m so glad I stayed here!

The front door was hard to close from the outside and would be helped by installing a handle on it to pull instead of the key. The WiFi connection was terrible—it was not working while in the apartment and I had to go outside on the porch to find it. I suggest pointing the antennas towards the apartment or installing a wifi mesh system. They only take cash for the payment and I didn’t see that in my reservation but that was my fault! I was able to walk 5 minutes to an ATM for the payment, no problem. Parking was very tight because it’s a public beach, but I was able to get my rental car into a spot very close by. The neighbors were a bit noisy, but I was there during opening night of the Olympics so maybe everyone was up late watching.

Beautiful location, but property does not meet expectations

The location is very good. Beach front, beautiful garden, easy to get to Zadar by bus. The station is just behind the corner.

Unfortunately, there were a few things we didn't like. First and foremost, it was not the balcony, but a porch, and from there you can't really see the sea because of trees growing just in front of it. Second, it needs deep cleaning because of the mold in the shower and around the bathroom window. Moreover, when showering water would not run down the drain fast enough, so you need to stand in the soapy water. That also is uncomfortable if you want to shower immediately after another person. Third, WiFi connection was basically non-existing, only sometimes working in the mornings. To top it up, we were asked to pay in cash, which was not stated when booking property. Furthermore, we needed to require the receipt and the host did not look very happy about it.

Very happy place

Excellent place for families: with garden, air conditioning, comfortable, very nice host. Next to the Borik beach with a sea view, bus stop, a supermarket. 15 minutes by bus to get to Zadar old town. We loved it.

One of the best apartments I’ve ever stayed at

The apartment is absolutely amazing. Super clean, cozy, spacious, and with an amazing terrace. It felt like home! Totally recommend and want to come back already!

location to the water! fantastic boardwalk for miles!! comfortable space, wonderful owners! a very mature garden with lime, mandarin, pomegranate and olive tree that we could eat freely from!! great full kitchen.

Where to start… we absolutely loved our stay at Apartments Lucija! :) We wanted a peaceful gateaway and we relaxed like a lot. Place is great, with everything you need and an amazing view. In the morning you can enjoy breakfast on a porch with the view on a water. Owners are absolutely lovely and very helpful. Our flight was very late and they were so nice and let us leave our luggage and stay a bit longer which helped us a lot. We can’t wait to come back next year! :)

super stylish apartment on the coastline in a calm neighborhood not far from Zadar old Town (by car 10 min), host is nice but doesn't speak English well - better use the translator. there were no shampoos and shower gels, but the host provides everything upon request. gorgeous sea view from the window
