There are many great things about the property at Punta Palmera. However, this unit is in need of a bathroom update. The shower clogged and overflowed and the toilet took 3 flushes each and every visit. During our stay, there was LOUD construction in the unit above between 9-5. This made working from the unit nearly impossible during the day. If this had been disclosed ahead of time, we would have made other arrangements. Overall, it is not ethical to rent a unit while there is construction without notifying the renters. When we notified the owner, she assured us the noise would stop the next day. It did not.
Otherwise, the amenities were excellent, the grounds, pool and beach all top notch. Cap Cana is a dream.
