The views from this unit are fantastic. Ricardo was very easy to deal with and responsive whenever we had questions. The location is also close to pools and the restaurant area of the fishing lodge. This particular unit is quite tired and in need of some work. Overall we enjoyed our time in the area.

We stayed June 8-11 2023. Our room was 5073. The condo is roomy with a beautiful view of the pool and harbor. Ricardo was always quick to respond to my questions. The pools are kept clean and we enjoyed them very much. The pool area was pretty quiet during the week, and sometimes we had the pool area to ourselves. Saturday was a fiesta grande at the pool and the resort was much more lively than during the week.
When we checked in we did go next door to the sports illustrated resort and purchas an all inclusive day pass for $100 U.S. dollars per person, per day. This gave us breakfast, lunch and dinner, access to the poolside restaurant, as well as a van ride to a private beach and wifi throughout the area.
The private beach, beach accommodations, and the beach restrooms were wonderful, but the ocean water was not. If you want to lay out, eat, drink and be merry, the private beach is for you. If you want to swim in the ocean, then no. We had a rental car which I highly recommend if you want to be able to travel around punta cana at your leisure. Cap cana is somewhat isolated (we liked it). We would stay again.
There is a musty smell in the room when the air conditioner is on. The air conditioner is VERY COLD. We turned it off and just opened the doors. The room is beautifully decorated but the furniture could use a cleaning as well as the mini fridge. The shower head needs to be serviced and the bathroom needs a new trash can. We also couldn’t get the tv to work.
