Stay at The Point - Prestigious Prominent Penthouse

It’s spacious, beautifully located, quiet, private and very beautiful

The stacker doors are broken, they do not open and look like they’re about to fall off. We were so unfortunate to have a severe storm over the night - we had to try tie some part of the door closed with our pantyhose. The jacuzzi is horribly dirty, it has mouldy water inside and looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. The toilets were barely hanging on to functionality, they didn’t flush properly

The space, the view. Really awesome place

The two guest rooms toilets was not working. If you put the aircon on the kitchen flood. If you use the washing machine everything is under water. The dishwasher is not working the way it should. The fold up sliding door is a hazard, not working the way it should. The main bedrooms shower is spraying water on blinds and window. This is an awesome unit but I think the owner can really try to do maintenance on the unit.

Place has so much potential but not managed properly.

Everywhere was dirty on the first night I arrived. Towels were used, wet, dirty in bathroom of all rooms, Used towels on the ground in bathrooms, Hot tub is not a hot tub but a cold tub and was disgustingly dirty, jacuzzi in master bedroom doesn't work, there were cigarette butt's everywhere around the cold tub. Used dirty cup left on the coffee table dinning table filled with old food crumbs. Kitchen floor had water leaking from the washer or dryer and a dirty wet towel was left behind to soak it up. So gross. I must add that they supplied fresh towels late into the night when I arrived and that was the only towel change I had for 3days. Cleaners came the second day I arrived to clean up as I refused to use anything or touch anything until it had been cleaned properly. We slept on laid out towels on the bed first night because I was unsure of the level of cleanliness of the sheets after seeing the dirty state of the house when I arrived. I asked for a refund of the first night but was ignored and was offered no compensation for a horrendous first night stay. Instead they wanted me to go get somewhere else late at night in a city I've never been to and refund would take up to 10days so I would have been stuck out of pocket for an unbudgeted expense.. The place is beautiful but needs proper management.
