Among the best accommodations where I ever stayed in India. Alok is a wonderful caretaker, always happy to help. He cooks excellent food, and adapted to my needs. He managed the washing of my clothes. He helped me find transportation when needed. I enjoyed staying in the garden and could even do yoga on the rooftop. The owner is reachable on phone when needed, and very kind also. The area is calm and secured. I was feeling like home. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay there when I am in Jaipur.

An Oasis.

Excellent food, three square meals a day. I didn’t eat anywhere else in my four day stay in Jaipur. Alu was a fine caretaker regular cups of chai at 5.30. And the food was amazing, the egg curry was better than my mums, I could have eaten it everyday. The garden was a charming place to eat breakfast and the chilli omelette was a delight. Best oranges I’ve eaten in India. Some fine help getting a tuk tuk on my leaving as Alu bartered the drivers down to rs120 to the rail station, so I got Indian price. Top man. Highly recommended in my books, and a well deserved reputation for excellence.10/10. Thank you everyone.

The stay was Fantastic, host was very welcoming, calm and serene theme with great food and cleanliness. Overall a perfect 10 on 10. Please do visit this housestay as it will make your Jaipur trip a pleasant one. Definitely a feather in the cap.

Fabulous, would definitely stay here again.

Its a fabulous property, the rooms are clean and spacious and the food provided for is scrumptious. Both Alok (the caretaker) and Jai (the owner) are immensely helpful and always go the extra mile in ensuring that you’re well provided for. Transportation is also easily available from the property and it’s easy enough to travel to all the nearby attractions. If you’re looking for a home away from home experience during your stay in Jaipur, then this is the place to be.

The property is in a very quiet, gated, well to do community, excellent location. Very helpful staff and extremely pleasant owner, couldn't be more helpful. Excellent home cooked meals are available for extra charge, lovely garden to eat your breakfast.

Not the best choice if you want a peaceful stay.

The decoration of the homestay is quite nice. There are certain elements which make the homestay very cosy and interesting like textiles and a retro car in the courtyard. Jai was very kind to explain us about Jaipur and about how to get around.

- It feels like the wall between our room and the next room was separated with a cardboard. We could hear everything other guests did in their room, including them flushing the toilet. - There was an argument in the courtyard in the middle of the night which disturbed our peace. - The staff does not speak English.

Nice stay in quiet area

The sweet owner does his very best to help with advise about what to see and where to go. The mattrasses are nice and soft. The area is quiet but still not too far from the center.

We didn't really have a match with the caretaker.

Peaceful homestay with nice garden area

Fun little place in the centre of Jaipur. Owner was very good at coms and we chatted on whats app. Had a few very minor issues all of which were resolved immediately. Rooms are spacious and clean bathroom is massive and also clean. Staff on site lovely and friendly you need to communicate with google translate but thats ok. Nice garden area. Relatively peaceful compared to other places.

Found breakfast a little over priced and complicated compared to other home stays. Could do with 2 bedside lamps and a luggage table in the room. Lick of paint wouldn't go miss.

Quaint stay in the heart of Jaipur

Jaipur 1727 is a quaint homestay located in the Civil lines area in Jaipur. The location is absolutely perfect as it's far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, perfect for a quiet stay. The rooms are excellent with 2-3 smaller sub rooms within each room, there is a garden outside which is regularly visited by peacocks in the morning. The staff is extremely welcoming and hospitable. Would definitely stay here again!

If you want to be close to the main attractions, they are around 6-7kms away.
