Staff was very helpful The room was spacious and clean Excellent mattress Good Aircon , which was necessary as it was very hot. Clean pool Breakfast provided was simple, but good. Free 1hour boat ride

The rooms offered no views to nature, because the windows are small and you have to close the curtains for privacy reasons. There were only two sunbeds at the pool The lunch and dinner options were limited due to the LPG crisis in India . ( The food that was available was good though)

Great location comfortable room. Lots of things to do on the property Excellent restaurant with many delicious dishes Afternoon cruise was definitely worthwhile with lots of wildlife and good commentary from boat captain. Good advice from desk staff re harbour/ fishing boats walk which was a real highlight

Nothing to dislike

We had a wonderful stay at Kondai Lip Backwater Heritage Resort. The staff were amazing, so friendly, helpful and welcoming, they made us feel completely at home. The location is fantastic - right in the heart of the Kerala backwaters, perfect for a relaxing escape. The room was delightful with a view directly onto the backwaters. Great facilities like kayaks and pedalos available. Also very reasonably priced massages.

The property it self is good. But the cottage has to have more improvements for the price being asked

The cottage stay is just ok. First it has granite stone in the shower area which you can slip. Second the jaguar fixtures needs to be update and the mesh net around the stone area shower needs to be changed, once you get the stone wet it gives off a weird smell. I think those needs to be replaced as well. And the place needs to have better sheets and regularly spray for insects. Overall I personally feel it’s too much for the stay the value should justify the maintenance as well. Which I felt was lacking. Food was just average
