We absolutely loved the whole experience — peaceful, quiet, and perfect for relaxing. It reminded me of my childhood in the best way, with the village atmosphere, animals around, and even the flies and little insects haha. Everything felt simple yet perfect at the same time. The rooms were tidy and comfortable, and although the mattresses weren’t super soft, that was actually exactly to my liking. No complaints at all.
Honestly, nothing major. The only downside was that it’s a bit far from Marrakech and not very easy to get taxis. Uber could take us from Marrakech to the hotel, but for activities and excursions we couldn’t arrange regular hotel pickups, so we always had to use a specific driver’s taxi services. Thankfully he was amazing and very reliable, just a little more expensive compared to Uber.

This is a charming, family-run Bed and Breakfast (B&B) located in the peaceful village of Sidi Abdallah Ghiat, around 20–25 minutes from Marrakech city centre and approximately 30 minutes from the airport. The setting is beautiful and tranquil, offering a genuine retreat from the pace of the city. What makes this place truly special is its deep commitment to the local community. Breakfast is freshly prepared each morning by local women (staff) from the village in an on-site kitchen that is kept spotlessly clean. We also ordered dinner on four evenings, all of which was cooked fresh to order. As this is a small B&B with only 5-6 rooms, meals are prepared on request and served before 9 pm, allowing the women to return home to their families. This thoughtful approach reflects genuine respect for the local community. The staff were consistently kind, welcoming, and attentive, and the atmosphere throughout the property felt calm, authentic, and carefully looked after. The rooms are spacious, and stepping outside places you immediately among trees, and greenery. AbdulRehman, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well looked after, and his care felt personal and sincere rather than transactional. We felt genuinely welcomed and at home throughout our stay. I particularly appreciated how the B&B actively supports the local economy. The cooks and staff (Fouzia, Hasna, and others) and the taxi drivers (Adil and his team) are all from the village, and it was clear that everyone takes real pride in their work. There is a strong sense of mutual respect and professionalism, creating an experience that feels ethical, grounded, and meaningful for both guests and the community. This is the kind of place that shows how tourism can be done responsibly - supporting local people, preserving authenticity, and offering visitors a truly memorable experience. We would absolute love to stay here again. Thank you for making our visit so special.
A few useful notes for fellow travellers: This is a genuine village setting. Some of the approach roads are narrow, and there is a short stretch (approximately 1 km) where you may notice litter in nearby empty plots, which is clearly beyond the control of the B&B owners. The village itself felt safe, quiet, and welcoming, and we had no concerns during our stay. There are no restaurants nearby apart from the on-site kitchen, which closes by 9 pm, so it’s advisable to keep some food and drinks with you if you may need anything later in the evening. As this is a family-run business rather than a corporate hotel, there may occasionally be minor issues such as brief electricity or internet signal drops, or water leakage in the bathroom, things that can happen in any home. All issues were sincerely handled by the staff. For us, this was more than balanced by the warmth, care, and authenticity of the experience. The property includes an olive farm, and we were lucky to watch olive harvesting, pick a few oranges directly from the trees, and experience everyday village life. The family kindly helped with laundry and even welcomed our daughter into the kitchen whenever she wanted to watch the cooking. These moments made the stay feel truly personal and family-oriented, rather than transactional.

The accomodation, the staffs the food were great. The pool was great too, just, the location where it is, might not be that great. Nothing interesting around. But a different sight of Morocco way different surround than Marakkesh. Maybe more true one. But the food and the staffs are amazing people. We were there at the very end of our vacation, so we wanted to take rest for 2 days before flying back to home, for that purpose, i think the accomodation was okay. The garden was amazing, the terrase was also beautifu. Had a very devine atmosphere.
The location, where it is located. It was a little dark in the room. Without car, it is a little hard to roam around. Taxis are avilable, but again you will have to pay for it for every ride from there to Marakkesh or way back.
