My wife is disabled and every time I book a holiday I always ask for a disabled room and was disgusted to find where are on the top floor and how to walk up two flights of stairs one with no handrails just not good for disabled people

Hotel stay in middle of town. Ideal after a night out

It was ideal location as was there for festival. pre booked a year ago.

I did not expect for homeless people to be put in the same hotel. Some of these are well known to have drugs addictions as we see them begging on the streets for money. I felt quite intimidated because there was alot of men playing video games in the bar. They was also very loud at night and was shouting, banging till 5am in the morning. THis was coming from the room next door.

Get what you pay for

The price! Right in the heart of the town. Location was on main st, which is lovely. It is however very busy nightlife and our room was on the front. It was a hot night & would have liked to have the window open. Even with it closed the music was blasting.

Mattress were the worst I have ever slept on. The pumping music from neighbouring business. The smoking area beneath our window. Bathroom could use a lock of paint.

Everything It shouldn’t be on booking.com as a hotel It was definitely more a hostel And we spoke with people who ‘live’ there as they are placed there be the council The place was filthy, the bed was broke, the noice from everywhere was horrendous The doors looked like they had been forced open more than once There was junk all in the lobby The place was disgusting Have complained to customer service and waiting on a response The fact they even have this on booking .com has s shocking DO NOT STAY HERE

No receptionist had to ring them and then still didn’t come . People who where staying there who where under the council . Which I have no problem with. However drunk person staggering around another with visible sores on legs and the reception area pilled up furniture and messy

Location was handy

Getting hurled abuse at by the local drunks on entering the hotel. Room smelled of cigs, the shower only ran hot, and the mattress springs were broken in middle on right hand side of the bed.

The location and the price, I knew it wasn’t expecting much due to the price, could access the hotel 24hr a day shower was ok.

Reception looked like a drop out centre, room tiny, very hot (not their fault obviously) not clean, toilet seat broken, toilet disgusting (made me gag several times) room very very basic and looked like a second hand shop. Mattress leaning against the wall in a corridor along with 6+ full black bin bags. Stair banister to top floor hanging off the wall which was on the floor as I left. Didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in the bed so slept on top f the bed both nights. This was definitely the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, however being there for a sports tour I only needed the room to sleep in.

Dirty and run down. Don’t waste your money here

Close to all bars and shops.

Hotel is very run down. Rooms smelt, furniture broken and loose, toilet seat hanging off. Curtains dirty and stiff and weren’t long enough to cover window. Beds wobbly and old, lights hanging off the wall, Down one corridor was full of rubbish bags and an old mattress. Got up in the morning and someone was asleep in the reception area on the seating under a duvet. The reception seating area was junked up. Just a very awful dirty run down hotel. This is probably the second bad review I have ever given but really did feel the need to right this review. Got to be one of the worse places I’ve stayed at.

There was black mould in the bathroom. The room was so small you couldn’t open the bathroom door fully. The stairs up to the room were all different sizes and posed as a trip hazard.

It was in the centre of town which is fine if that’s what you need, however it’s run down and very basic. I knew it would be basic for the price but wasn’t quite expecting the standard we walked into. The beds were collapsed in the middle so we woke up with terrible backs, the room was falling apart and the smoke alarm had a bag over it. Every time someone had a shower or fished the toilet the whole room shook and I could hear everything.

Comfortable bed & great sleep, location fantastic for centre of Bridgwater.

A great location for towns facilities, bars & restaurants. Shame there's no breakfast but probably reflected in the price. I had lovely large room & very comfortable bed. Only criticism was I had achilles tear & was so worried in shower of slipping over. Asked for shower mat which couldn't supply but said they would look into this as a good idea. Onsite manager did help carry my bag up.👍🏻

Spotlessly clean, a fresh smell throughout the hotel. Not sure if new owners but the hotel has definitely improved since my last stay. Would be good to see the hotel offer a bar service but wouldn’t stop me staying again in the near future!
