Cold rooms 13 degrees celcius

Nice house and rooms too...

The house and rooms are very cold 🥶 February. Talk with the owners as they live on the side and they didn't do anything about or even respond in any comfortable ways. So if you fancy paying money and going back to like 1930 and staying in a cold room the choice is yours.

Compared with high street rooms, this is above and beyond in comfort, cleanliness, friendliness and peace and quiet. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

very dissapointing - not worth the price.

No breakfast provided, and there was not even a kettle and courtesy hospitality tray in the room, which should be a basic requirement of an overnight stay.

The room was very cold, despite heating being included in the listing. The mattress was appealing and needs replacing. The house backs onto the railway line so very noisy.

Cozy and friendly vibes!

It was very quiet! Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower are properly ventilated which is a plus for me, I love fresh air. My room was sunny too, and had a great view. The location was very easy to get to and from the city center. The host was very nice to chat with, and I was glad to meet a local. I will definitely come back here next time I visit Glasgow. Thank you!

Not actually to do with the property. But one of the other guests forgot to flush the toilet one time but that’s it. Also that same guest may have left the toilet seat up but I get it, maybe in the middle of the night they don’t want to slam the seat down. If you’re reading this and you’re a future guest coming here make sure to practice good etiquette when it comes to these things. It’s just common courtesy.

It WAS a good value, so I don't mean to complain. There is one toilet and one shower, and they are down the hall. If all 4 rooms were full, especially if there would be couples, that might not be enough. There aren't "extras" like bottles of water or a coffeemaker in the room. Otherwise the place is fine!

Amazing hosts, close to train, check out Brig Inn for cheap drinks!

Hosts were absolutely delightful to talk to, we were greeted with fresh coffee before we left in the morning, and I was even messaged directly about some belongings I had left behind.

There was a carpet cleaning crew that showed up towards the last hour of our stay, not a huge inconvenience but we did feel like the appointment could have maybe been pushed back an hour. And although we weren’t affected by it, future stayers might have been.

Location was far from Glasgow centre, airport and anything worth walking to.

The laundry soap was way too strong. This was a bedroom room in the couples house, sharing all their facilities including the bathroom.

The host is very nice and kind. The bed is comfortable. It's important to know that it's 25 minutes away from Glasgow centre.

They have 3 beautiful dogs, so the hallway smell a bit strong.

Vinnie and Jennifer were so welcoming and friendly. The house is beautiful and immaculate. The shared bathroom is super clean alongwith the shower room. The room was large and had lots of storage. The train station is a 5 minute walk away, alongwith a co op and local cafe.

Lovely stay

Excellent location for Glasgow airport if you wish to use public transport to get there if not Vinny can arrange for a taxi for 20 pounds. The Brigg bar just down at the bottom of the road for a drink if you like. The red forte was great for an Indian sit in. Jenny thank you very much for the iced water it was needed on a very hot day. Would highly recommend the Emo for a short stay. And this lovely place is dog friendly too. The train station at the bottom of the hill also if you need to get into Glasgow with trains running every 20 minutes I will be using the Emo again if flying from Glasgow airport and need a short stay.

My wife has her nose too near her backside and said can you smell the dogs. I said too her this is s dog friendly place ha ha ha. Oh and you could eat your food off the floor spotless.
