The house is beautiful, and very children friendly. The children loved the toys and the hammock! If you have a car, it's also in a very good location close to Asahikawa and Biei. There are convenience stores 10 minutes away by car.
The emergency light hanging from the bedroom ceiling. I get that they are required by law to have this sort of light, but it was too bright for my taste, like having a lamp on during the night. I was lucky I had a sleep mask in my suitcase. My husband and kids weren't bothered by the light though.

It was just very easy to settle in.
It had everything we needed and was very clean.
Heaters worked great and the kitchen was well equipped.
15-20 minute drive to the local supermarket.
Couch was a little awkward for my sore body.
