The location and surroundings are excellent. The flat is very well equipped in relation to entertainment, cooking and washing.
The flat is very tired and tatty overall which is not obvious in the listing photographs. Attached photos show some aspects of this however each room had a number of issues. Given the cost of the accomodation, slightly disappointing overall.
Living/kitchen area:
• Sofa bed fairly uncomfortable to sit on, particularly tiring as the week went on. Buttons missing from cushions (later found in a drawer).
• Overall very clean, however bottle caps left on breakfast bar.
• Hastily filled holes where previous screws/picture hooks were located.
• Water damage around windows sloppily painted over.
• Water damage to wooden floor close to windows.
• Damage to edge of living area door, resulting in splintered wooden edge.
Entry Hall:
• Floor very creaky and flooring worn.
• Mismatching overpainting behind entry door.
• Scuffed walls.
Bathroom:
• Very noisy/rattling extractor fan, with huge lumps of dust blown out when first switched on.
• Chipped bathroom sink.
• Rusting bathroom radiator.
Bedroom:
• Water damage around windows, poorly painted with overpaint onto window frame.
• Exposed screws where deer head hangers were missing.
• End tables of poor quality (thin metal) and condition.
• Very noisy and ill-fitted wardrobe doors, difficult to open and close.
• General scuffs on walls.
• Slightly jarring and random no smoking sign on the bedroom door, which looks out of place.

It was self-catering, location was excellent and central to the village.
The seating in the sitting room was not comfortable and it was a shower over a bath which is ok for fit people but I have a spinal condition which made getting in and out tricky but it was a great shower.

Place was amazing to stay, bedding amazing, all kitchen equipment top notch.
Alarm went off in apartment so we had to call maintenance. He said alarms where a nuisance as so temperamental but didn't need as all other safety equipment in apartment covered everything. So in our eyes get rid then, because at end of day it does frighten you especially as we where just sitting there and had no cooking appliances on.

It is a beautiful property and our apartment was well appointed with everything we needed. It was a great base for us to explore the area and to just relax.
Beware - the little Spar in town charge “tourist prices” for basics. The pubs are cozy but some of the kitchens close early.

Was an excellent location for exploring the highlands, central as a jumping stone for Inverness and Skye.
The pool times were limiting when you are out all day exploring. Would have been great for better options for swimming in the evening.

The Pool! Extra-ordinary must-see. The whole complex really is a highlight on its own.
The apartment itself is quite jaded and could probably be cleaner. Also it's really not for people with social anxiety or no english speaking skills whatsoever, since you have to call at arrival.

Beautiful location, the building is absolutely stunning! We used the swimming pool and games rooms and both were excellently maintained, booking process for swimming was straight forward.
Outdoor areas are great as well, park and tennis court and a big green.
Apartment was brilliant, very homely and comfortable.
Great set up, had everything we needed and the whole process and contact with host was simple and efficient.
Great base for exploring the area.
Nothing really, if I had to be picky, the mattress on the double bed was slightly too soft for our personal preference but fine for our short stay.

Very clean and great location in Fort Augustus.
Swimming pool charges are way too high, £5 per person for 1 hr, which makes it £20 for a 1hr family swim!!!

Absolutely loved staying in the Abbey in an apartment at the Raven Wing. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and the old Abbey itself is a treat to look around. The apartment was a lovely relaxing and spacious place to stay and the staff were incredibly helpful. Fort Augustus itself is a wonderful place and lots to see or do there and other places close by too. We will definitely be returning in the future!

The double bed could do with a new mattress as sags in the middle, the sofa is tired and could be renewed,
