Amazing, charming, very friendly- stay as long as you can!

Cozy and quaint accommodations in a 300 year old traditional Danish building

Charming heritage accommodations which have been beautifully updated to ensure a comfortable stay. Large property with extensive back garden and recreation opportunities. The family suite was very comfortable and gave our family of four lots of room to relax. The little kitchenette is amazingly well equipped and has everything you need, although if you want a microwave or oven you need to use the one in the common area.

An absolute gem on South Fyn, really happy to have the experience of staying at Solbjerggaard

This property really captures the Danish term Hygge. An absolute gem with lovely hosts who really care about creating a relaxing experience when you stay there. The rooms are lovely and the beds are topclass for a great nights sleep. We were lucky to join a dinner on our first night with the other guests. A lovely experience with exceptional food & great company. Breakfast was a real treat too, so don't forget to book that the night before.

It’s a wonderful and unique location. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Super close to the beach and wonderful routes to walk. We also received great suggestions for restaurants etc.

Fantastic!

The apartment was situated in a beautiful old farm which was renovated by the owner. The apartment was big and decorated with good taste. There was a big garden where you could move and sit free. The owners were Peter and Laura. By request they made a big basket filled with all kind of nice breads, cereals, fruit, skyr, confiture, eggs and so on. A real big surprise. Peter was a very kind en friendly host and he had good recommendations how to take a nice drive, visit some nice places, and take a ferry to Sjaelland. We certainly will return! Thank you for a nice and pleasant stay!

All in all a disappointing experience.

We liked the garden.

We did not like the fact that the room had only three tiny windows, of which only one could be (a little) opened. The tiny window in the bathroom could not be opened at all. The curtains in the room were virtual nonexistent, so we had to cover the windows with black paper to keep the (early morning) light out. The furniture was very uncomfortable (likely made for Vikings). The entrance to the room was partly overgrown with rose bushes which made it difficult to enter the room without getting scratched. Although we liked the garden, we did not like the fact that this garden could not be entered directly from our room (no patio). You had to leave the room and walk around part of the building. All in all a disappointing experience.

Fantastisk og unikt

Fantastisk idyllisk og unikt sted med charme og skønne mennesker. Dejlig have med mange skønne steder man kan slå sig ned. Meget lækker morgenmad. Virkelig skønne værelser med alt hvad man har behov for og lidt til. Skønt at vi kunne have vores hunde med også Vi glæder os til at besøge Solbjerggaard igen en anden gang

Eneste meget lille minus er den trafikerede vej der går forbi gården men ikke noget man kan høre når man er på værelset/ opholdsstederne. Og slet ikke noget der på nogen måde vil afholde os fra at besøge stedet igen

Ein sehr schöner Vierseithof, weitläufiges Umfeld, geschmackvolle Einrichtung, alles da was man braucht u.v.m. Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin und ausgezeichnetes Frühstück in gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Gerne wieder!!

Ein toller Ort um zu entspannen

Die Liebe zum Detail, die Gastfreundschaf, die man schon in der Kommunikation vor der Ankunft merkt. Die Küche ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Bett sehr bequem, der Blick in den Garten entspannt sofort. Man kann sich auch an Regentagen im Apartment aufhalten, ohne, dass einem die Decke auf den Kopf fällt. Sehr gemütlich.

Der einzige Punkt, der etwas stört ist die (zumindest tagsüber) stark befahrene Straße vor dem Haus.

Heerlijke plek op mooi eiland

De hartelijke gastvrouw zowel Lone als Marie Louise deden erg hun best om t ons naar de zin te maken. Iedere ochtend een heerlijk ontbijt en zelfs mijn verjaardag werd niet vergeten. Het onderkomen is prima Goed bed en goede faciliteiten. Rondom het huis een heerlijke tuin met overal zitjes.

Een fantastische, onvergetelijke week op Solbjerggaard!

We hebben een fantastische week in Solbjerggaard gehad! Allereerst wil ik noemen onze lieve gastvrouw Marie-Louise. Zo mooi om te zien hoe vriendelijk en gastvrij ze was naar alle gasten, de tijd nam voor iedereen en ervoor zorgde dat het ons nergens aan ontbrak. Elke morgen verse broodjes, waarbij de Danish Pastry om te smullen was; nergens hebben we die nog zó lekker gehad! Marie-Louise heeft een avond gekookt voor de gasten en dat was ook een onvergetelijke avond, zó gezellig. Verder hebben we veel gebruikt gemaakt van de nieuwe kas, waar we heerlijk konden zitten als het buiten te fris was. Er was een BBQ die we bijna elke avond hebben gebruikt. Wij zijn ook helemaal geïnspireerd geraakt van de met zorg ingerichte appartementjes. De bedden zijn van zeer goede kwaliteit en slapen fantastisch. “Vandkanten” in het haventje van Faldsled is een superleuk adresje om bijvoorbeeld heerlijke fish and chips te eten op het terras of in de tuin. Funen is ontzettend mooi, er valt heel veel te ontdekken. Faaborg is een prachtig stadje en ook zijn we via het eiland Tåsinge naar Langeland gereden, waar we erg onder de indruk waren van het stadje Rudkøbing. Er is een prachtige wandelroute helemaal langs de kust in de buurt van Ballen. We hebben onvergetelijke herinneringen hier gemaakt! Bedankt Marie-Louise en heel graag tot ziens!

Ein genussvoller und romantischer Kurzurlaub!

Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön in einem alten reetgedeckten Fachwerkhof gelegen, der einen romantischen Innenhof mit Kopfsteinpflaster umschließt. Hier sowie im angrenzenden riesigen Garten befinden sich viele romantische Sitzplätze, auf denen man die Idylle genießen kann. Die von uns gemietete Familiensuite war großzügig geschnitten und äußerst geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet. Das Beste an der Unterkunft ist dabei die herzliche und fürsorgliche Betreuung durch Marie Louise (und ihre Partnerin)! Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an bei ihr wohl gefühlt - sie hat uns so freundlich und aufmerksam empfangen, wertvolle Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt gegeben und uns mit köstlichem Frühstück sowie Lunchpaketen verwöhnt. Wir sind froh, auf der Rückreise nach Hause zwei Nächte geblieben zu sein, weil wir so einen herrlichen letzten Urlaubstag bei ihr genießen konnten.

Nur eine Kleinigkeit, die unter dem Strich keine Rolle spielte: Das Bad in der Familiensuite ist etwas eng und es lässt sich nur schwer duschen, ohne den Boden trocken zu halten.

Die Anlage ist wunderschön und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet – man spürt die Geschichte des Hauses. Das Frühstück war traumhaft, frisch, abwechslungsreich und mit hochwertigen Zutaten – wirklich erstklassig. Besonders toll fanden wir, dass individuell auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen wurde. Wir haben uns rundum wohl und wie zu Hause gefühlt.

Es gab wirklich nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hätte.

Wat een prachtige plek ! Schitterende tuin aan zowel de zijkant als achterkant (grote tuin die overloopt in glooiende heuvels met vrij uitzicht). Ieder heeft een eigen zitje in de gemeenschappelijke patiotuin. Vijgen, bramen, rode bessen, kersen er is van alles in de tuin te vinden. Geweldige gastvrijheid, mooi ingerichte B&B, een meer dan fantastisch ontbijt! Mocht je daar behoefte aan hebben dan kun je uit de koelkast een lekker gekoeld drankje of glaasje wijn pakken (en dit op een lijstje aantekenen) In dorpje zelf zijn bij kraampjes langs de weg aardbeien, kersen en ander fruit te koop. B&B ligt in een mooie (fiets)omgeving. En hier de lekkerste Deense Kanelstange gegeten! Kortom, een echte aanrader!
