Lazar&Mila Apartments

Lovely accommodation located just outside the centre of Žabljak. You’ll likely need to catch a taxi to the apartment, as it’s a bit of a walk from the centre. We ended up walking back one evening when we couldn’t find a taxi, as there aren’t many taxis around. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our two-night stay. The balcony had a lovely view, which we also enjoyed from our bedroom window. There is also a dedicated parking spot for guests who have a car. Communication with the owner was great, and a few days before our arrival he sent through all the check-in details, making the process very easy. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again.

There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like about our stay. The only minor issue was that water from the shower tends to spill onto the bathroom floor, so it can become quite wet. One thing to be aware of is that payment for the stay needs to be made in cash. It would be helpful if this could be reiterated to guests, as accommodation payments are often automatically charged to a card. The owner did try to arrange change for us, which we appreciated, but we ultimately found it easier to go to a nearby shop and arrange this ourselves. If you do need change, it may be worth mentioning it a few days in advance.

It was an amazing apartment with everything included that you need. Parking spot available for free. Nice view out of the bedroom and living room because of the big windows. Owner was super responsive and easy to communicate with.

The front door didnt close properly but we just locked it every time. There was no cosy light in the living room. The little road towards the house was hard to drive but still manageable.

We paid around 30 eur per night in April 2026, which reflects the value of this accommodation. It‘s an old and run down holiday home spilt into two apartments.

Black fungus in the bathroom bothered me. Thin walls make you hear everything that happens in the other apartment, which gets very relevant when you are trying to fall asleep.
