Great view from rooftop balcony. Lots of practical little touches that made the stay easier, plenty of towels and supplies plus cooking equipment made it easy to be self-contained. Great to be able to do laundry. Close to multiple bus stops with direct access to downtown. Well stocked store around the corner. Gappo Park not far away to walk. Interesting being in a proper residential neighbourhood, friendly people.
Would have liked a dedicated hand-washing sink (there is the cistern tap, bath tap and kitchen sink).
It wasn't a problem for us, but be aware that the fit and finish is what you would expect of a residential apartment of its era, so don't expect it to be like a new hotel.
