Serenity by the Lake - Romantic Waterfront Couple's Getaway

The setting on the edge of the lake is picturesque and the extent of the provisions make this a generous property for a few days. Leah has thought of everything so that the actual space and furniture, whilst not upmarket, is functional and homely and comfortable. I hope others reading this and other reviews take note about the stairs which require careful navigation, especially with bags. But take note also that you need bring very little apart from clothes - there is fishing gear, towels, and extremely well equipped kitchen, games, books and magazines, and a well stocked pantry and fridge.

The outside of the property could do with a little TLC. It wasnt a very inviting space for when the wind made sitting on the jetty an impossibility.

The kitchen had everything we needed, the breakfast provisions were incredibly generous, and the lake views were beautiful. We loved having access to the kayaks, paddle boards, and lakeside fire pit. The hosts have thought of everything.

Leah has gone above and beyond to equip the space with everything a guest could possibly need. The attention to detail and the very generous inclusions made the stay so warm and welcoming. She was a wonderful communicator and host.

The weather could have been better! Though I think if Leah could have helped in that regard she would have.

The attention to detail was amazing . All the amenities were perfect and breakfast was included. The location and views were fantastic. No complaints at all and we really enjoyed our stay there. 10 out 10 score for sure.

There are over 50 steps to go down from the main building to the apartment. Not a problem but would like this made more clear in the description.
