The two level fully-equipped residence is located in the magic of a coast included in the Cliento National Park and protected marine area where the wonderful sea alternates with the luxuriant Mediterranean scrub made of olive trees and vineyards; the cliffs and the medieval towers contribute to create a breathless landscape of uncontested environmental value. The different terraces in the garden offer an astonishing panoramic view of the Policastro Gulf.
The Coast of the Infreschi and Masseta is a spectacular Marine Protected Area, one of the most important in the whole Mediterranean. For about 13 km, the coastline is a succession of coves, cliffs, beaches, coastal towers, caves, crystalline seabeds, which lead to the main place: the natural port of Infreschi, already known in Roman times, and used as an “ante litteram refrigerator”. The area is a double treasure trove, as the Marine Protected Area is entirely within the territory of the Cilento National Park, Vallo di Diano and Alburni, UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cradle of biodiversity, Infreschi and Masseta’s Coast is plenty of great naturalistic interest and rare beauty. The Infreschi Coast is indeed one of the less urbanized areas of southern Italy. Due to the unique level of environmental heterogeneity, it has been declared Site of Community Importance (SCI) under Special Protection.
