A few places where paint is peeling and cupboard are showing wear and tear

The unit was spacious, comfortable and had a lovely corner view over Bedfordview. The bed was comfortable, the bedding was clean, the fridge was great, and I appreciated the Wi-Fi, big TV, comfortable couch and small desk space to work from. The staff were friendly and the unit was cleaned every day, which was a big plus.

I was happy to pay R300 per night to upgrade to the bigger unit, but I was surprised to be charged an additional R300 just to have a washing machine added, which I have never experienced before on Booking.com. The unit also needs some maintenance and attention. The bench at the end of the bed was stained, the bath was stained around the drain, the towels were washed out, not sta-soft soft:( and crispy white, and the coffee table and dining table had water damage with swollen wood. The kitchen was very sparsely equipped, with only two of most items, and I also saw some cockroaches, which I reported. Overall, the space was comfortable and the staff were friendly, but for the extra charges I expected the unit to be better maintained and better equipped.
