Totally let down at last minute

Property was in ideal location for work event, but on morning of date due to stay, as I was getting on the train to Manchester, I was informed the booking had been cancelled. I was unable to get hold of anyone by phone, Had to involve Booking.com who were really helpful and found us alternative last minute accomodation. We didn't pursue your property as couldn't risk not being able to get into property, as access was by phone contact !

Property cancelled on me. Then sorted it through booking.com for the owner to meet me there with keys. Nobody turned up and I ended up in a travelodge down the road. Ridiculous experience.

Nice central hub

Convenient central location. Pretty big and well facilitated.

There is only 1 working lift, with the apartment being on the 4th floor there are times patience’s is required unless you want to use the stairs.

A functional place to stay, but uncomfortable.

The location of this flat is very good. It's great for sleeping three people, or up to six depending on who is happy to share the (quite small) double beds. Some of what we needed to use the kitchen was there. The person who gave us our keys was very friendly.

This was an unauthorised rental, which we didn't know about until we arrived - there's a sign in the lobby of the block of flats, which is meant to be residents only. At least one of the sockets was blown out, so was nonfunctional and potentially dangerous. There was very little in the flat to help us keep it clean (eg tea towels, sponges). The sofa beds were very uncomfortable. Some of the heaters were broken and all of the working ones turned off automatically on a timer and wouldn't turn back on. The wifi was very slow.

Disgusting dirty and damaged

Nothing disgusting

Dirty, we had to buy our own towels apparently if we wanted towels it was an extra fee. The dining chairs were ripped and so heavily stained to sit on them we had to use plastic bags. The flooring is damaged tiles cracked and loose and lined boards in kitchen had damaged edging so you had to be careful. The noise was really bad - window are insulated so we were being woken up during the night with fights out the front at the bus stops. The blinds would not draw completely down in all rooms so we had outside lighting into our bedrooms and they damaged as well. The walls were heavily marked and not been painted in years. Scribble on backnof doors - the rangehood had no vents it was just empty. The pans were so used and damaged you couldnt cook with them They left us a dirty wet and stained dishcloth to use - bo teatiwels - you had to buy them.This property resembled a rundown council flat that had been seriously neglected. Can't believe booking.com state these people are a preferred partner. Don't stay here the pictures do not match the room - its like they have used someone else's renovated apartment - the layout is the same - just everything is damaged - drawers in the bedrooms. The kitchen bench cupboards most were missing handles so we had to open from the bottom of the door - its disgusting and atrocious - see the pictures!!

Avoid. Deposit may be taken for previous damage, no cutlery and you get some unwashed bed linen.

Location. It was not very noisy.

I was charged from the deposit for a mirror that was in fact already broken already (but I believe the host didn't know it was broken before). Some bed linen were not washed! We had to sleep on linen that didn't seem like washed in 2 beds. For the 5 of us, there was only 1 knife and no fork, and we had to wash all cutlery we used (spoons and the 1 knife) as they were dirty. The kitchen contents in the drawers were all messy as well. At first communication was good with the host, but then I got no response when describing our issues after the deposit was taken.

Pleasant surprise, much nicer than the pictures.

Convenient location central Manchester Northern Quarter, clean, comfortable good size. I'd highly recommend.

At one point one of the lifts were not working but there was another one and it got fixed rather quickly so we didn't have to use the stairs (third floor apartment). High security deposit but it was returned very soon after departure.

5 guests staying and we were told there was 3 sofa beds so each person was under the impression they would have their own bed which is why we chose to book, the cupboard with the bedding was locked and so we only had enough bedding for 1 additional bed. all windows were left wide open, we missed one before leaving and so the rooms were freezing when we returned, the fridge looks like it’s been in a fight, the main door to the street didn’t lock…the block reaked of blocked drain, the bottom of the beds looked like they were all water damaged. was fine for one night given the circumstances but if I’d have booked this for anything else I would have been mortified

Isn't a very good stay

It's nice location

Everyone ignored my messages after stay. There was no toaster in the kitchen, staff member promised us to get bed accessories (I'll send you someone later) and gone. But later complained for bed tampering, obviously expecting that at least two guys can sleep in one bed. Broken window, bad shower hose, no table. Parking cost £15 for night however other apartments in same building have it included in apartment stay price.

Vi kunne godt lide Manchester og opholdet i byen, men denne lejlighed var langt under standard.

Beliggenheden var fantastisk tæt på alt. Selve udgangen var dog ud til et lidt skummelt busområde, hvor der var mange mærkelige typer.

Stedet var beskidt. Der lå gammelt undertøj under sofaen. Vandhanen sad løst i køkkenet. Der var skimmel mellem fliserne på badeværelset. Sengene var ret små til to voksne. Køkkenet var beskidt og slidt. Vi måtte starte med at vaske servicet. På badeværelset var toiletbørsten knækket og ret ulækker. Fordøren lignede at nogen havde prøvet at bryde ind. Møblementet var koldt og ubehageligt. Vi brugte så lidt tid som muligt i lejligheden. Ærgerligt, da den absolut ikke var billig.
