About this apartment rental
Chalet Brunner 3 is a cosy modern 2-bedroom holiday apartment with a garden terrace located on the 1st floor of the recently built and very charming Chalet Brunner and perfectly positioned for ski-in / ski-out and hiking trails on the doorstep! Located in the family-friendly car-free village of Wengen, 650m from the train station and 750m from the cable car, access to the mountains and ski areas is on your doorstep!
The apartment sleeps 4 - 5 people:
Bedroom 1 = 1 double king-sized bed
Bedroom 2 = 2 single / twin beds
Common spaces - 1 double sofa bed
All beds are European sizes.
Bathroom 1 = bathtub with shower overhead and WC
Cheerful colours and comfortable furnishings create a fresh casual space that is just right for a relaxed Alpine holiday! The views of the Jungfrau from the sunny south-facing garden terrace are picture-perfect, inviting you to relax with your alfresco glass of wine and fine Swiss cheese! What you should know...
Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if you require assistance to your chalet.
Note that the sofa bed is in the living room for the 5th person, and there is a breakfast bar for dining at.
As part of your booking, a mandatory non-refundable damage waiver of CHF 35 is required. This waiver offers you protection against accidental damage during your stay, ensuring peace of mind without the need for a traditional refundable security deposit.

Everything was great and beautiful. Apartment a little dusty. Hot water ran out quick. Clothes dryer machine did not dry clothes. Other than that, would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Summer stay. Incredible view of the mountains and green fields below. Great location - away from downtown - very quiet at night but less than a 10 minute walk. Took a taxi to our u it when we arrived with our big bags as the walk is uphill to the u it but that is to be expected. Check in was easy and fast and they were all so helpful and nice!

Apartment was well equipped with most of the essentials we needed for our stay--including what we needed to cook our own meals. Furnishings were comfortable and functional. Really enjoyed having meals on the patio with beautiful views of the Jungfrau. We were surprised to see a clothes dryer was included, which is not typical in Europe. But unfortunately, the utility of the dryer was limited as it took about 2 hours to dry a small load of clothes.

We absolutely loved this place! It was close to the train station (although it did involve an uphill walk of about 10 minutes). It is surrounded by beautiful gardens with flowers and had an excellent view of the mountains. The place was well stocked. We were able to cook breakfast every morning before our big hikes and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
