About this cottage rental
The Old Stables is a wonderful cottage, where the living area extends and includes everyone. The TV room flows into kitchen, which is a beautiful social space that rolls into the conservatory. The dining area benefits from the light of the conservatory - its just a delightful space to enjoy. The conservatory leads out to a huge, private garden. This includes a pizza oven, hot tub, bbq and fire pit. It's a fabulous place for any occasion. Six bedrooms, three bathrooms. Access to the tennis court, play area and football nets. Onsite horses and chickens, and views across Wyre and the Fylde Coast.

Absolutley remarkable and breath taking place! Great location and perfect place to reconnect with your body and friends and family, very spacious and very convenient and safe place. Astonishing views, animals and nature perfect spot for isolating and disappearing for the weekend away. Thank you so much for letting us stay and experience this beautiful cottages.. It was a group of 15 people and we loved every moment. Especially coming back to the cottages to spend the rest of the weekend after beautiful Lake District Hike. thank you!

My family and I had a fabulous long weekend staying at Barnacre cottages
The Old Stables cottage was amazing. Decor was perfect, comfortable beds, there was everything we could possibly need, and more. The children played outside from breakfast til bed…tennis, games in the huge garden, football and there was even a family rounders match on the field one evening. Each day ended with a little drink and games around the fire pit

We loved everything about this place, it accomodated 10 of us very very well, there was plenty of parking outside for us all!! The house was stunning, the beds and couches were very comfortable! The grounds around the house were stunning, so picturesque and peaceful. There was a small park for our 7 year olds to play on and a horse and pony who came out to say hello to us everyday. We especially enjoyed sitting around the firepit together and lounging in the living area, we didn't light the fire indoors but it looked lovely. The kitchen had everything you could need and a lovely big AGA cooker. All of us had a fantastic break here and can't wait to return for the next one, would highly recommend!!
