Carob Hostel

I loved this hostel. Rooms were good, nothing special but had all you needed. What made this hostel so great was the facilities, great common areas on the upper floor with both views and a cosy garden like feel on the backside. They also had an amazing restaurant! Staff were super friendly and always helpful. Location was great too, quite a climb up but made worth due to the views!

The breakfast was excellent., very colorful and attractive in presentation and delicious too! The staff were awesome especially Abed. He was very helpful, always positive attitude. There were lots of space to sit down, relax and socialize.

It would be better if there was a window in the room where I stayed at.

Tabii, yorumu doğal ve samimi bir İngilizceyle şöyle düzenleyebilirsin: The staff were incredibly attentive, kind, and welcoming. We had quite a few questions and uncertainties about our holiday plans, and they were always happy to help. Even before our reservation, they took the time to answer all of my questions and gave us sincere and helpful advice. The location is very close to the Old Town, which was great. However, if you prefer to walk, there is a very steep hill on the way back to the hotel, and it was honestly quite challenging. The second time, we used Uber, which cost us around 1.5 JOD and took us directly to the hotel. We also had some difficulties understanding how the buses work in Jordan, but the hotel staff explained everything to us very clearly and helped us navigate the transportation system. The common areas of the hotel are incredibly peaceful and beautiful. There are several charming spaces where you can relax and spend time enjoying the atmosphere. We travelled as two young women and felt completely safe throughout our stay. I would definitely consider this hotel a safe and comfortable option, especially for women travelling alone.

One thing to keep in mind is that the air conditioning in our room was not cooling properly, so unfortunately, we could not really use it. Since the room has single-glazed windows, it also got quite warm at night. Apart from that, everything was wonderful and we had a very pleasant stay. Also, just a small note: keep in mind that towels are available for an additional fee.
