Lake view villa surrounded by greenery

The property is well maintained, very clean and pleasant. However, the property description leaves off some things. Yes, there is Air conditioning, but only the bedrooms and nowhere else. It was uncomfortably warm downstairs with no fans, and no AC. The pool is hard to use because it is an above ground, difficult to enter and the kids could not use it. The property is multi level with steep stairs. It was not a problem for us, but could be for others. There is no mention of this in the property description. “Although we paid over 600 Euros per night, there was no shampoo, very little soap and one bottle of drinkable water for seven people. There were signs that warned against drinking the water. We asked about the water, shampoo and soap, and were told that there are markets somewhere where such things can be purchased. We were seven people with two cars, with one set of keys for house and gate. It took two days to get another set. The photo of the property with the lovely green area in front is from some other year or decade. That’s not what it looks like now. There was mosquito netting around the beds, which is a good thing, and I feared a mosquito invasion, but I did not see even one. No. This is not a complaint; just an observation. The kitchen was well stocked, surprisingly complete. The microwave dish is broken or defective, but it is not obvious until everything spills when you use it. The property is shown as 3229 square feet. It seemed bigger.

We loved this authentic Villa nestled on the hills above Lake Garda. The accommodation was lovely with spacious bedrooms that each have an attached bathroom. The large kitchen has a wonderful big table for big gatherings and dinners with the best wine and cheese of the region. This home was perfect for families traveling together or as we did with several couples enjoying all this area has to offer. We used fresh rosemary from the garden to cook and loved the big living room with the pool table for relaxing evenings. There is so much to do and see in and around Lake Garda and this is a perfect home base. We highly recommend Villa Castei and the gracious host if you're considering the Lake Garda area as a holiday location.

Super hus med en rigtig god beliggenhed i forhold til en ferie ved Gardasøen. huset er ideelt for familier der rejser flere generationer. Der er fem soveværelser med hver deres badeværelse tilknyttet. Der er derudover et godt funktionelt køkken, og et opholdsområde. Der er tilkyttet en pool som er god til børn, og udeområdet er i sin helhed dejligt og der er en god mulighed for både at slike sol, og finde skygge. Alt i alt et klassehus, som jeg kun kan anbefale på det varmeste.
