The perfect place to stay if you want a good location. Not so much if you are looking for comfort.

Excellent location. Very near the Louvre and the Opera. Walking distance. Near avenues with great means of transport.

The flat was not very comfortable to be in. The bed had only 2 small pillows which made sitting on the bed (not room for anything else) very uncomfortable. The window could not be opened to air the room. No night table to be able to put your book or phone on. Linen had stains. I also found it not very practical that the city tax was charged in currency and not in my credit card.

We liked the location.

The room was not cleaned, there was so much dust and dirt over the bed frames it was just disgusting. Breakfast was paid for but not delivered on the second day. No fresh towels. Sunday morning the cleaner started to harass us about leaving yet check out wasn’t until 11am. I found her manner confrontational as I returned from my walk. We had no option to get change for the city tax so could not get change for that. The cleaner shouting at the door was the strangest thing about this place to be honest. We felt very uncomfortable because of that and would not recommend. It’s a pity as this could have been a much better review had the focused on some of the smaller details like cleanliness, towels, breakfast and courtesy.

Ideal for the price, great location

Excellent location by the Louvre, very central to most things. We walked pretty much everywhere. Hosts were good at communicating.

Small but sufficient and within reason to the price we paid. Quite a noisy external environment but I think Paris in general is - lots ongoing of building and early morning bin men. Could’ve been cleaner.

Small Rooms but strategic location

The place was very strategic

I booked the 2 rooms apartment and it look quite spacious in the images but the place was very small . When I asked for extra pillow they were unable to provide as the pillow size was very small and not the standard size.

My reviews are also for people who understand that a lot of buildings in Paris are old and accommodation is tight. Location is fantastic. Easy walk to Louvre and other fantastic Paris attractions, etc. Kitchen and bathroom were both very well equipt. Both were big by Paris standards and considering how much we paid. Room was quiet, clean, neat. Very well presented. We had a corner room and it had a Juliette balcony. Super cute. A supermarket right across the road. Seriously, just across the street. Tons of places to get a meal. Very good luggage storage near by (I forget what they were called but they are like a tiny grocery store with a lot of flowers for sale outside). It has a lift (remember this is Paris, so the lift is not large, but enough for a person and their single luggage bag).

Honestly, I have very mixed feelings about this place.

The location was excellent!

Customer service: I had issues with the door code and had to call support five times, spending about an hour on the phone in front of the closed door. Two out of three operators hung up on me. Not the best experience, especially since I was travelling from abroad with a child. On top of that, the floors were very dirty and sandy, and then all that dirt ended up on the bed.

Good location, but very noisy, and few plugs not working

The location, its a 5 minute walk to metro line 7 (pyramides and also line 1 Palais du Louvre). The bathroom was clean as well.

The noise, especially the first night (Friday night) it was loud, hearing people coming back at night as well as music in one of the apartments, we barely slept that night, although Saturday night was very calm, so maybe we were unlucky with the first night. Also the floor is old you hear everyone walking on the same floor even one floor above you. Moreover, the heating was not working and the room was cold and the morning of check-out a woman was loud..Also 3 plugs were not working including the one next to the tv, luckily there were still 2 plugs next to the kitchenette that worked.

The location is fantastic

I felt as if the aesthetics of the room could easily be improved.The lighting is terrible, and not sure about the black curtains! Wasn’t sure if you could open the window; we didn’t want to try.

Good location. Disappointing apartment

Good location in the heart of the tourist areas.

We originally were meant to stay at the apartment Richelieu but it was in very poor condition and felt like staying in a cupboard. The building is neglected and very shabby. The Lino on the floor was torn and created a trip hazard. My husband laid on the bed and it collapsed - luckily he wasn’t hurt, but it was completely unusable. They moved us to Louvre Casanova which was a short walk away - much more modern and slightly bigger - still felt like a cupboard with no room at all. Would not stay here again.

Not good

We arrived to an unclean room. Left our luggage. Thinking they would get it done soon. They when we when back the door handle was broken so it was very hard to open the door again. Call the numbers- condescending people acting like it was our fault. Then they said they wanted us to go to another location Just 15 mins away. The whole reason I booked the place was because of the location. The room was also in a very dark corner with multiple levels. So lots of areas to stub you toes on in the night. Luckily we went across the street to the Golden Tulip hotel which was lovely.

A great location, and comfortable stay

The location. It’s a lovely street, felt safe, quiet and very accessible to landmarks/transport. It was clean, the bathroom was great (just no vent/fan) and good water pressure. The kitchen is great with a little mini fridge. The second bed/queen bed which is in the living room made it a manageable but tight space, we were a group of 3 and it was manageable but this would be very tight for a group of 4. The host is very responsive.

It isn’t advertised as having wifi though it would have been a great addition.

In general, great loaction, great stay for 2 nights!

Location is perfect, clear directions for check in and codes provided; Even though our check in time was at 3PM, the staff let us in earlier to leave our luggage!

Not a big deal, great location minimizes the disadvantages.. Small room, you have to walk around the beds; Towels provided the day after; Could be cleaner (floors) and defects on floor could be resolved.

Fine place to stay if you only care the location with a moderate price.

Great location, and many nice restaurants nearby;

Room a bit tight, but fine for 2 people for short periods; no AC inside, and a bit noisy outside, so don’t open the window at night; password is a bit complicated and more like a Airbnb, not a real hotel; and a bit expensive.

Great location good facilities.

The location was amazing right next to the louvre and close to the public transport. Double glazing windows meant you couldn’t hear anything! It doesn’t have air conditioning but it has a fan which works quite well. Fridge was small but fit drinks in it, overall it was clean and a really good value for money.

To pay the city tax you had to deposit it in the letter box unfortunately it was not named and their where about 15 other letter boxes that looked exactly the same! We managed to get onto the host and was able to sort out an alternative place to leave the city tax.

An otherwise nice apartment was spoiled by too much noise.

The location is excellent. Very near the Louvre, several mostly Asian restaurants nearby, also a bakery and a Carrefour. Several metro stations nearby.

There is a huge construction site in front of the building which is extremely noisy from 7am onwards. Against this background, I would have expected a major discount. There is no cutlery provided. No storage facility at the hotel. I used another facility nearby which costs 8 Euro/piece. You need 3 codes to enter the apartment. There is usually no staff around, apart from the cleaners in the morning.

Good for location, but we wish we stayed elsewhere.

The only good thing about the property was location.

Firstly, it was extremely dirty. Right as we arrived, I walked across the room in white socks that turned dirty immediately. The bathroom was just not clean, no particular dirt, but it smelt damp and definitely didn’t have “hotel” polish. All surfaces were dusty. Secondly, we had a major situation with accessing the room. The keypad was broken, first we were locked out at 11pm, trying to contact the management of the property who didn’t respond until the following morning, though thankfully after almost an hour of trying to access the flat we managed to “unfreeze” the lock. The following day, the keypad crashed completely and we stood in front of the door for hours, waiting for the engineer to arrive and fix it, forcing us to change plans and cancel other commitments. There was no ETA for engineer’s arrival, so we were just waiting aimlessly. We wanted to move to a different property, but since the engineer was able to make the keypad a little bit more stable, we were denied an immediate refund.

I am very disappointed and regret to book this Airbnb, It ruined my vacation

I feel very bad for this Airbnb. During whole 7 days,the stove never works. We can’t cook food in room, we have to eat at restaurants every day which costs me a lot of money. The reason I book this Airbnb,is that we want cook food ourselves at home. Also the security locker doesn’t work which put our value goods in risk. The house keeping is also very bad, we found the blood dirty in the bed sheets and cover. 7 days they just come once to replaced bed sheets. I strongly request a compensation for my lost.

I loveddddd the location! Literally right down the street from the Lourve! There's a market on the corner where you can get snacks and water. Cute places to eat on every block. The room was small. It would've been perfect for 1-2 people, but a bit crowded for 3 people and all of our luggage. We made it work, though. Spent most of our day walking around the city!

Air con didn't work and also the plug in the sink in the bathroom was broken so every time I used it had to scoop the water out into the toilet with a jug. Not ideal! Then I had a phone call apologising for the inconvenience and offering a small refund (90 euro).. i paid 570 if I altered my review to reflect the fact they had tried to sort it out. I did so in good faith. 5-6 weeks later and numerous emails this hasn't happened. I am now reporting them to Booking.Com because I now suspect this is something they do all the time!
