It was so close to the port and all the bars and restaurants but we weren’t bothered by the noise as the apartment was at the back facing the courtyard and pool. We were allocated parking aswell which was really useful as the roads around the port get really busy. Been to Duquesa many times and this was the first stop at marina real. Would stay there again but maybe not in this apartment. Plenty to choose from

Roller shutter didn’t work and one of the bathrooms wasn’t good, shower didn’t work and the other guest with me said it wasnt clean. We reported the shutter as you couldn’t either open or close it properly and had to duck everytime to go out but nothing happened about it

When I reported the shutter was stuck half way up no one came to repair it. I know the day it was reported was a Bank holiday but the no one came the days after

Very dated, not as clean as it should have been There was a leak from the bathroom, coming through to the dining area ceiling onto the floor. Despite reporting it twice, no one came from maintenance to repair it.

Location excellent for beach and port

The apartment was much less satisfactory than expected. It was very dark, with very little natural light, and the kitchen required the lights to be on at all times. Although the property had been redecorated, there was still visible water damage and damaged plaster on the lounge ceiling. There were a number of maintenance issues, including a broken toilet seat in the second bathroom, a shower screen with a failed seal that caused the bathroom floor to flood, an unpleasant drain smell in the main bathroom, and patio doors in the main bedroom that did not lock, creating a security concern. The terrace was particularly disappointing. Although advertised as overlooking the pool and sea, much of the view was blocked by overgrown shrubs. In addition, a wire fence enclosure had been installed because the owners have a dog. This required guests to climb over an approximately 30 cm barrier to enter and leave the terrace. We considered this unsafe, as it created a trip hazard and potential risk of injury. The air conditioning worked when we first arrived but then stopped coming on. No instructions were provided to help operate or troubleshoot the system. Overall, we do not feel that the accommodation matched the standard we expected.
