This is a place we would return to stay in. Laurent and Sandra are exceptional hosts.

The location was perfect. The site was stunning. The hosts went out of their way to think of everything and treat us like family. This is perfect for families with young kids and situated equidistant from so many wonderful towns. The Town itself is tranquil, beautiful, and has your needs within reach.

Charming but not quite perfect

The townhouse itself has plenty of charm, with its traditional character, spacious flat, and comfortable furnishings. The sofa and bedding were comfortable and we especially enjoyed the large shaded terrace overlooking a beautifully landscaped garden ( as long as you have mosquito repellent). Plenty of loungers by the pool and a quiet back garden.The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, and the bonus of free, secure on-site parking made things convenient. Good to explore the area if you have a car. The hosts were approachable and gave us plenty of space and privacy.

Our stay was not without issues. The flat had very little natural light and with black painted walls , which may be ok in the height of summer but felt rather gloomy in September. More importantly, the AC/heating was broken for the first three days and no alternative was provided, a simple "no" when we asked for a small space heater, leaving the flat uncomfortably cold. We had only packed summer clothing and ended up wrapped in blankets just to have dinner. On arrival, we also noticed a lack of basic essentials: only half a toilet roll, no dishwasher tablets, and empty soap and dishwashing liquid dispensers. The pool, advertised as heated, was extremely cold and clearly in need of maintenance with large patches of algae and run down lining— we had to ask for it to be cleaned every time before using because for some unclear reason they kept switching off the water filter system. Roadworks right by the property made access difficult. The property is right in Cabbanes' town center but there's very limited charm to the town itself. Finally, despite paying a £50 cleaning fee, we were asked to strip the beds and carry the bins (very practical when the recycling bin has no bag either) half a mile to the collection point, which felt odd. Overall, the property does have potential if they invest in upgrading it and get the basics right.

Super genoten van ons verblijf top !!!

Zeer gast vriendelijk de ontvangst was super mooie tuin en zeer aangenaam zwembad

Het zijn recent nieuwe eigenaars en ze gingen na het seizoen heel wat verbeteringen doen er was wat nalatigheid van de vorige eigenaar deze mensen hebben dit al goed opgelost door schilderwerken en goed te reinigen

Séjour en famille reposant

Cadre très agréable, belle bâtisse avec une belle piscine, espace extérieur paisible et arboré avec goût. Les hôtes Sandra et Laurent sont d'une gentillesse et d'une disponibilité remarquables. Ils font tout pour que notre séjour se passe bien (conseils sur la région, ainsi que des petites attentions à notre arrivée) . Nous recommandons vivement et reviendrons avec plaisir... Encore merci ces 2 semaines.
