Floating house is an unusual kind of accommodation, a step short of a true yacht. We were looking for something exciting for our children and it was just perfect! Location was also great, a shot drive by car/bicycle to city centre and very good restaurant nearby.
Food options are limited. The restaurant was a bit pricey and fully booked on weekend, so one can’t go there ad-hoc. Food truck was on site only once (or it was there shorter than stated time and we missed it). There was electric stove in the house but no microwave. So plan your meals in advance.
If you are a tall person >185 - stay away. You won’t fit on the bed.
There is a castle right next to the marina which is a luxury hotel/wedding venue. We were unlucky- was loud music well into the night despite heavy rain. Inside the marina it was surprisingly quiet, even in the caravan park area. Sound insulation is like in a tent.
