West Point Backpackers Hostel

Exceptional host who invited me for breakfast with her family. You get some complimentary tea in the room which is a great touch. The room is very comfortable and the host clearly makes a lot of effort to make you feel at home.

It is a long walk to town centre, so consider if you have mobility issues, but if you are somewhat fit it is no problem and the walk along Gandhi Road has some great views.

It's very nice place . The behaviour of owner is so good. Here you will get everything neat ant clean . You can stay here with your family . Near this home stay , there is a restaurant who make delicious home food . On ground floor, mio more is also available where you will get patties, cake, pizza, etc which is run by owner of westpoint backpackers

I came here at 3:00 am at night . But my check in was at 11:30 am in morning. We go here and there for 8 hours . But it was our default.

Hosted Rebeca mam is very welcoming nature. Amazing view from balcony. If weather is clear you can see easily Kanchenjunga.Homestay location is good you can got taxi easily. If you see budget friendly room with family just go for it.

My stay at West Point Backpackers Hostel was truly pleasant and memorable. The location is perfect—very easy to reach and ideal for exploring Darjeeling. The scenic Himalayan views from the property are absolutely beautiful and made my stay even more special. Rebecca and the team were extremely helpful and supportive, especially with planning my itinerary. Their hospitality was warm and genuine, and I felt very comfortable throughout my stay. During my time in Darjeeling, I enjoyed visiting Mahakal Temple, Mall Road for cafés and shopping, Hotel Lunar for South Indian food, Frank Ross Café, and the peaceful Dali Monastery—listening to prayers there was a calming and beautiful experience. & Toy train I’m not a tea person by nature, but Darjeeling completely won my heart. A lovely place, a great hostel, and kind people—highly recommended!
