Casa del Capitán

Wir wurden von der Gastgeberin, Pilar, sehr freundlich begrüßt. Sie hat uns alles gezeigt und erklärt. Vielen Dank nochmal für den netten Willkommensgruß und die zusätzlichen Handtücher und Kopfkissen. Das hat uns wirklich sehr gefreut. Das Haus liegt direkt am Meer (Natursteinküste) und davor ist nur eine wenig befahrene Straße. Schon beim Frühstück mit Sonnenaufgang hat man den perfekten Ausblick auf das Meer und genießt das Meeresrauschen. Der Pool ist klasse, schön groß, für uns ganz allein und durch die Abdeckung, die man sehr leicht zurückrollen kann, ist es nie zu kalt. Sehr kleiner Mangel - die Treppe - keine Stufen, nur Runde Stangen und der Handgriff ist direkt über dem Boden. Die Aufteilung des Hauses ist toll, beide Schlafzimmer haben ein separates Badezimmer und sind durch einen kleinen Flur getrennt. Die Küche ist groß und sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Haus war sehr gut gereinigt. Der Ort Arietta ist noch sehr ursprünglich, der kleine Supermarkt hat alles was man braucht an frischen Lebensmitteln und es gibt ein paar sehr schöne Restaurants, wie das "el Lago" oder das "la Casa de la Playa", wo man fantastisch Fisch essen kann. Wir haben unsere Woche in vollen Zügen genießen können.

Nur ein sehr, sehr kleiner Mangel - die Treppe in den Pool sollte durch richtige Stufen ausgetauscht werden.

Going home!

This is the best villa we have ever stayed in, it is so comfortable, and spotlessly clean with all the home comforts you could wish for. The sea view is stunning, and even though the weather was not great, we never got tired of looking at it. The restaurants mostly shut early which is a shame. Pilar is absolutely lovely, and was there to greet us, and very happy to help with anything if needed. The wine, cheese and water were a nice touch. There were all the kitchen bits you needed, i.e tea, coffee, seasonings, oil etc, and we had a cleaner come mid stay. We would definitely love to come back some day and highly recommend this beautiful villa in an authentic Canarian Town.

The villa was exactly as it looked on the photos. All you could hear was the sound of the sea. It was the most well stocked kitchen I have ever had in a villa. The location was great. A 15 min walk to the supermarket and restaurants. Also 2 mins to a restaurant in the other direction. Host was wonderful. Cannot fault it.
