It was absolutely outstanding! Perfect experience!

Everything was perfect — the apartment, the atmosphere, the location, and the breathtaking view from our balcony. It was spotless and spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed for cooking. The bedrooms and bathroom were very comfortable, and the space was more than enough for four of us. The host was extremely kind and helpful. We loved the option to order fresh farm products for breakfast, and the free public transport passes for all four guests were a great bonus. The place itself is simply magical — the kind of experience you can only have in a peaceful, authentic spot slightly away from the busy Dolomites towns.

Wi-Fi was quite weak, probably due to the remote location. Also, if you don’t have a car, it’s important to plan your day carefully to catch all buses and do grocery shopping in advance — the nearest stores are a bit far on foot, though the walk there is beautiful.

Made our stay in the Dolomites

Hofer Hof was a little gem. When our original accommodation cancelled on us at short notice we booked in here instead and it was the best decision of our holiday. We loved our hosts, the pool, the breakfast basket, seeing the cows and horse and the gorgeous view. Our little boy adored it and we will definitely return.

Very nice apartment in a great location

The view from the house was breathtaking. Hosts were extremely welcoming and quickly responded to all our questions and inquiries. Our apartment was quite spacious equipped with everything we needed for a weekend. Everything was clean and well maintained.

Delightful find, when our initial camping plan didn’t work out

A delightful farmstay in the mountain. It is just outside of Castelrotto town, and lies in between Ortisei (to go to Seceda) and Bolzano. We stayed in July. Our room was clean and kitchenette was sufficient for us to prepare small breakfast and meals. The owners had fresh eggs, honey, milk, homemade yogurt; all from the farm. Would definitely stay here again if we’re visiting the Dolomites in the future.

The place is wonderful, has a magnificent view and terrace for cozy mornings, the little village is just the place one needs to relax, because it is very quiet. There are a lot of animals around which adds to the best experience of countryside. The host is very hospitable, responsive, and offers to order local foods for breakfast.

Blissful few days on a charming, kid-friendly farm with welcoming hosts and amazing views.

Our stay at Hofer Hof was the highlight of our entire trip in Italy. Spotless, spacious accommodations, stunning views, easy parking, and such warm and friendly hosts who cheerfully worked with us across language barriers and were so generous with their time. We got to meet many of the farm's animals with our kids(4&6), and loved learning about the work they did on the farm. The swingset and riding toys made our downtime at the farm stress free, and the shutters on our windows worked amazingly well at providing a cool and dark room for our kids to sleep in. We also loved the breakfast offered - it was great to get to pick and choose what we needed for a semi-self catered breakfast, especially when some of the items were directly from the farm. Our son loved discovering our breakfast basket at the bottom of the stairs. Truly, we loved it there and would recommend it to anyone traveling with kids in the area.

Amazing.

Breakfast was very good. You tell them what you want and they bring you the ingredients in the morning, and you cook it. All ingredients are from thier farm, or local farms, and is delicious! The views from the deck, windows, and yard are absolutely incredible. Entire place seemed brand new, and very clean. Host is extremely helpful and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

Gentilezza dello staff, e Simona è veramente molto accogliente! L'area circostante è stupenda, immersa nelle montagne e vista mozzafiato delle dolomiti. Bella l'area per i bambini. Servizio cestino della colazione molto apprezzato: eccezionali il latte e le marmellate fatte in casa. Posto auto spazioso e coperto.

Appartamento un po' freddo il primo giorno, poi hanno acceso il riscaldamento centralizzato. Sarebbe stato utile una scarpiera all'ingresso.
