What an exceptional experience at this wonderful accommodation! The owners have gone out of their way to make our stay as amazing as possible. Their eye for detail in the warm welcome, the breakfast, the wonderful room, the outdoor onsen and their recommendations on things to do - we loved every part of it and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a true Japanese experience. The spotless room was comfortable, quiet and well stocked for those who like eating in. The multi-course breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. Hosts Jo and Jun treated us as valuable guests. Highly recommend!!

We had an amazing stay for 3 nights. The owners are very kind and helpful with ideas of how to best spend your time. The breakfasts were the best we had in our 3 weeks in Japan. Lovely outdoor onsen and most beautifully clean property.

We have more than our expectations when we stayed with Kunugi. The owner operates this house by themselves and very kind and helpful. They give a very nice recommendations about place to visit and local restaurants we need to try. The location is private but not far from the main attractions of Hakuba. The house’s interior is decorated in mixed Japanese and Thai styles which blends in very beautiful and warm feeling. Room equipped with everything you need like you stay at home plus a massage chair which is very comfortable especially after your long day. The most extra ordinary is our breakfast. We stayed 3 days with we have 3 different very delicious breakfast on every morning.
Nothing we don’t like about Kunugi.
