Large villa for 12

Villa had plenty of space & was clean. Lots of bathrooms. Bedrooms were large. Pool was very clean & big. Close to supermarket. Beach within easy walking distance.

Villa layout is odd. No direct access to & from pool area from living area. High rise buildings blocked sun until 11am. No basic provisions provided (would prefer to pay another €20 on price to cover basics; milk, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil, water etc.) Villa seems to be maintained to a reasonable, rather than excellent standard. Hot water ran out very quickly.

We had a fantastic week at villa Calgala and would certainly stay there again.

Location, location, location. Easy access to beach, shops, bars, restaurants etc. Two large supermarkets within easy walking distance. Bus stops nearby. Air conditioning was excellent. Pool was fantastic. Ample off road parking.

Needs a bit of TLC. Simple things like bathroom door lock not working, bedside drawers broken, nothing a competent handyman or even a competent DIYer couldn’t fix in a day, but for the price I expect better. A really nice property that could be an outstanding property.

The pool discolored our swimwear - no response or help from PlusHolidays

The location is fantastic - close to the beach, restaurants, and supermarkets.

The house is very sparsley furnished. Lack of serving dishes, frying pans and usable knives. No drying rack and not enough parasols by the pool. The pool water discolored our swimwear och towels. PlusHolidays should have warned us as the green stain could not be removed, and both clothes and towels were ruined. I have written and also called PlusHolidays to return the secutity deposit, but I am still waiting to get my money back. Unfortunately, I will never rent from PlusHolidays again, as the company seems untrustworthly.

Villa caleta.

Location was perfect. Close to the beach and restaurants. Villa was immaculate upon arrival and was stunning. The pool was cleaned during the week and was amamzing. They allowed us to check in early aswell, after a short wait they rang us to collect the keys at 1pm instead of 5pm! Will DEFINITELY be returning.

Wonderful two weeks in a spacious villa.

Amazing location, glad it had off street parking as the area was so busy. Didn't need a car with this location but we went to Altea and Moraira which were well worth it. Brilliant pool area. Plus holidays were responsive when one of the Air Con units was leaking and came out within an hour. Two big supermarkets within a few minutes walk. Would return.

No plastic glasses or plates etc. which would have been useful by the pool. Was a shame the outside eating area wasn't closer to the kitchen.

Great family holiday in a lovely villa!

The pool area was great! Lots of space inside and a lot of the bedrooms had en suites.

We had to ask for a new umbrella because it was snapped. We asked for 2 as there is 2 shown in the photographs but they would only deliver one. The lock on the front door was reported as faulty but nothing was done about it during our stay.

great location for a family holiday

we are very familiar with the Calpe location as our family have been coming here for many years. This villa is close to where we used to stay. It is therefore very near all the facilities we are used to - which is very important as we are bringing the next generation of young grandchildren with us - they particularly loved the pool !

The beds take a bit of getting used to - and the kitchen is a bit tight if ( like us ) you are constantly cooking for 10.

Fab. We would love to go back!

Collecting and returning the keys could be made much easier with a key safe at the property. It was quite a long walk there and keys had to be returned to the agency at the end of the holiday. With hindsight, this could be made much more straightforward.

Great villa

Very spacious, very clean, well equipped kitchen, good location 5 minutes walk to supermarket, 10minutes walk to beach, bars and restaurants, staff efficient

Sofas a little tired, shower head fitting broken in one en suite was a bit of a pain having to go to another bathroom. Collection and drop off of keys to office in the town a nuisance as its 10minnute drive from Villa.

Excellent location, lovely house!

We stayed here on a big family holiday, 8 adults and 3 children. We had a fantastic stay, it was only a five minute walk to the start of the prom, beach and many restaurants. Rooms were basic but we were comfortable. The kitchen was very well appointed and the living room was large with plenty of space for everyone to sit around with a fairly large balcony to the front. The pool was big and really nice. It was gated and on a raised level away from the other outdoor space which made it very safe for children. We loved our trip and would return in the future. Excellent value for money.

Just some small things - there were no waste paper bins in any of the bedrooms and no mirror in many of the rooms. There was no full length mirror anywhere in the property. The sofas are old and could do with updating. We had to return the keys to the office which was a 45 minute walk from the property after we checked out, a lock box at the property would have been convenient.

very specious, has all the facilities that you need, staff was very friendly and helpful. very good for money value. Location was perfect, not too far from a seaside. private parking was a huge advantage for us, we had 3 cars.

Good place to stay as a base for a holiday in the area.

lovely Villa, the location was good for us as we were at a dance festival at a near by hotel. The beach is only a 10 min walk and there are 2 larger supermarkets nearby

The booking said on site reception so we were expecting to pick up the keys at the property - especially as we'd been asked for an arrival time. But on arrival no one was there- we had to call the office and then get taxis to and from the office some distance away. We had to return the keys to the office on departure although we were able on this occasion to arrange an extra drop off with our transfer company. This cost us an extra 30 Euros and wasnt great when you arrive tired. Had we at least known we could have pre arranged to pick the keys up on route. Plus holidays said this was an error on Booking.com so im not sure at what point communication went wrong.

wonderful place, we will be back!

Fantastic serious company with fantastic houses, neat and nice! House was close to most things and the pool was cleaned 2 times in a week and if something is wrong people will come and fix immediately! I would say a big thank you to your janitor who delivered the keys to us and fixed our washing machine when it did not work, all companies should have had a man like him!

Very sad that they do not have a better way to get the keys delivered to the house. Was very bad that there were only 6 sunbeds on 12 beds.

Een erg relaxte vakantie met alle voorzieningen binnen handbereik.

De locatie was erg fijn, dichtbij het strand en een supermarkt waardoor je altijd makkelijk dingen kon halen. Het zwembad was ook heerlijk groot, konden met 12 er allemaal van genieten. Genoeg ruimte in het huis en fijn dat er 4 badkamers waren.

Het liefst hadden we de sleutels bij het huisje gekregen in plaats van dat we die nog op een andere locatie moesten halen. Maar voor de rest was alles erg prettig en goed.

Chill out Villa

Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche im Ferienhaus mit Meerblick verbracht. Die Lage ist wirklich außergewöhnlich – man hat vom Wohnzimmer und der Terrasse aus einen direkten, freien Blick aufs Meer. Besonders die Sonnenuntergänge waren atemberaubend! Der Pool ist wirklich perfekt. Das Haus war sehr sauber, schön eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Die Küche ist voll funktionsfähig, die Betten bequem, und auch das WLAN hat zuverlässig funktioniert. Die Gastgeber, das Personal waren sehr freundlich und der Check-in lief reibungslos. Besonders gefallen hat uns die ruhige Umgebung – ideal zum Abschalten. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants sind fußläufig und schnell erreichbar. Ein perfekter Ort für alle, die Ruhe, Komfort und einen fantastischen Meerblick suchen. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Ein Badezimmer hat gestunken. Nur starke Putzmittel und lüften könnte helfen.
