Dante Relais

The location is unbeatable because it’s right next to the Piazza Dante metro station. Even though I know the back of the borough is not the greatest area, the B&B it’s actually at the beginning of the street so more towards piazza Dante which is way better. The place itself is so well renovated, you can tell they look after the place very well and the host is very friendly and available at all times. It was my family in law first time in the city and they’ve loved it. You can walk from the B&B to all the main landmarks of the city.

I’d say the lift which is small, cannot fit more than 2 people at a time and even though the concierge provides you the coins to use it it’s just not smooth every time you have to get up. We knew about this aspect as before booking we went to see in person the place, but I mean it wasn’t a huge deal. Another thing to mention, even though the B&B is set at the very top floor of this huge historic building, the rooms kind of wobbles/shakes. I believe this is due to the fact that just underneath the building there’s the metro line working nonstop and fun fact you can hear still the hustle and bustle of the city even though you’re basically at the top floor.

A bit more of instruction for when arriving at the property, as there was no signage saying to go to the 5th floor for check-in, the property is a heritage building, and the rooms are located all on 1 floor, so it was a bit confusing, but there was a gentleman at the property who assisted once he knew where we wanted to go.

Everything was super clean, Roberta did a great job. The room was very comfortable and the reception staff, Roberto was lovely and super welcoming.

All great.

The staff is very rude. I waited 2 hours to check in, I didn't get the access card at all (they gave me door keys) and I had to go to the electrical panel to turn on the power in the room. They don't answer the phone or messages during the hours and you can't connect to the WI-FI. I asked them to bill me for the services from the first day and I haven't received the bill even today, a week later.
