The property was immaculate, well laid out, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Hosts had left some breakfast items and treats too. Like a spa retreat after a work conference.
Only small niggle was the open shower in bath so it was tricky trying not to splash water over the surrounding floor.

Fantastic location for hiking up Slieve Donard, especially being able to use the back gate on the property. Lovely accommodation with lots of facilities. Really nice big bath tub.
A bit cold, but we were staying there in February. Mattress was extremely soft and we both prefer a firmer mattress. Nice that there was a fire, but would have been better if it had a glass pane to see the fire.

A very cosy lodge and well equipped. Great location and only a short walk into Newcastle. Lidl around the corner which was great. Hosts were very helpful with any queries prior to our arrival
