About this cottage rental
Our rural house was born from the farmhouse rehabilitation project where our ancestors lived, a country house at the foot of the natural park of the Ports, in the town of Horta de Sant Joan. It offers a privileged location in one of the most virgin places of Catalonia, perfect for hiking, getting lost taking long walks and enjoying the wild nature. It is ideal to disconnect and spend a few days with family or friends. The house has a large garden with pool and waterfall, perfect for the whole family to enjoy. We also have an organic garden, and pets are allowed. The whole house has been decorated with the idea of preserving the maximum of original elements, such as the large stone oven where the family's grandmother made the bread, the mill where the grandfather made the wine or the stairs carved in natural stone. All combined with elements of great comfort such as beds with high-end mattresses and high-quality appliances, and custom-made furniture to ensure maximum comfort for our guests.
We use sustainable energy to generate house energy, such as biomass and solar panels. We have Wi-Fi connection and covered parking area, and we serve welcome breakfast with local products to start the holidays in the best way.

Todo ha sido fantástico, el trato con los anfitriones ha sido maravilloso y siempre atentos de que nuestra estancia fuera lo mejor posible. La casa es preciosa y es perfecto para pasar unos dias con amigos y/o familia y desconectar.

We had high expectations, which were even surpassed.
Anna and Bru are lovely, warm and caring hosts, who make you feel very welcome at their beautifuly restored holidayhome. We couldn't have found a better place to stay for our group: 4 adults & 10 teenagers. Everything in the house and in the garden and around the pool breathes love. Every detail is well thought. Everything - from the furniture to the kitchen equipment, is carefully selected with a keen eye for design and esthetics. We would highly recommend this location for anybody who seeks a quiet hideaway and who is looking for something special.

Estuvimos un fin de semana 8 personas para celebrar un cumpleaños. Todo fue estupendo. Los anfitriones muy atentos a cualquier necesidad, la casa,.... espectacular. Muy confortable y totalmente equipada. Ubicada en una zona rodeada de almendros y a tocar del macizo dels Ports
