An amazing place to stay and I would absolutely stay again!

The location was amazing! A very short walk to the Pienza center. Grocery store a block away. Small restaurants very close. the apartment had a beautiful view and outdoor space to gather or sit privately. A bonus was the washing machine. Our host, Luciano, also provided a wonderful feast on his own wine, olive oil, cheeses and meats - what a treat!

There were appliances and dishes in the room to use but no way to really wash the dishes. If it were clear we could have used the small kitchen next door, that would have been really nice to know.

Very lucky to find this available at short notice. Would definitely stay again!

Just a short 5 minute stroll into town, the gardens were lovely with plenty of room to relax and there was free parking. There was a basket of snacks and a bottle of wine in the room which was a nice touch and everything was tidy and clean. The Coop mini-mart was very handy.

Aircon would have been nice but the fan was fine even in 30 degree temperatures.

The perfect place for the best vacation and photography!

Very convenient location, a few steps from the center of Pienza. We booked an apartment with a kitchen and another room for a couple of friends. There was a door between the apartments that was opened for us and that was exactly what we needed. The bedrooms are large, with comfortable mattresses and snow-white linen. Cozy warm bathrooms, great shower. Fast internet. The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed. Very nice Laura and Luciano. They were always in touch with us and responded very quickly to messages and our requests. They presented us with red wine of their own production and treated us to home-made chicken eggs. There was absolute silence at night, in the morning the birds were singing outside the window. And it was wonderful! The place is strategically convenient for photographers. We went to take photos at dawn in Val d'Orcia. I recommend having dinner at Sette Di Vino (real home Tuscan cuisine and a very charismatic owner). Thanks to Laura for helping us and booking a place in this restaurant. I highly recommend Agriturismo Podere San Gregorio!

Romantic journey and stay in Tuscany

The location was perfect-it was a very short walk to the town. Luciano and Laura were great hosts! They gave us a tour of the town and even invited us for a wonderful dinner. The room had a mini kitchen with everything we needed and they gave us eggs from their chickens for breakfast. Pienza is a very romantic and quaint town. We ate dinner at Buca di enea and La Bandito Townhouse and we loved the welcoming feel and hospitality. We could not have dreamed of having a more perfect time here.

Exceptional

Everything was just perfect! Beautiful place with super hospitable hosts! When we entered the room, there was a big basket with snacks, fruit and wine waiting for us. Room was clean, very well equipped. There is an ideal place outside where you can sit on the sunbed, read a book and drink wine with beautiful surroundings. Mr Luciano who owns this place is one of the nicest people ever - we had a chat with him nearly every day and he treated us with his delicious wine and grappa :) Location is also ideal - 5min walking distance to the city centre. Strongly recommended!

I loved meeting the owner and spending time getting to know him! He greeted us with a drink. He and his daughter make you feel right at home. We only had a 10min walk to Pienza and really enjoyed being able to walk everywhere.

Absolutely unique place to stay in Pienza!

This is an absolutely unique place to stay in the most beautiful part of Tuscany, Val d’Orcia. The localizations is just perfect, you can park your car easily and the historical part of Pienza is only a few minutes by walk away, so you can enjoy this beautiful town, restaurants etc. without a need to go there by car. The rooms are very cozy, authentic and perfectly clean. And the hosts… if you get to know Mr Luciano, you will know :) This is absolutely one of the most warm and cordial people we have ever met and he definitely creates the spirit of this place. This was our second time at this Agriturismo and I really hope it wasn’t the last one!

Highly recommended agriturismo close to the center of Pienza

Location is great, just a walking distance from the centre of Pienza but quiet at the same time. There is also a supermarket nearby. The property is beautiful, very authentic. There is wi-fi and free parking. Luciano, the head of the family, is a very warm person and has many life stories to share. He offers a tasting (20 euros/person) with different types of ham, cheese, wine and olive oil produced by the family.

The room has too much decoration, which makes you afraid of breaking something and takes up a lot of space.

great location - only 5 min by walk from the center of Pienza, petrol station and supermarket nearby property has beautiful garden with all you need to relax and enjoy your holiday - seats, tables outside, small animal farm behind the building ( with tiny bunnies!!! ) in the room you will find coffee machine, cuttlery, plates, fridge and homemade wine and small snacks owner has his own small winery behind and he was kind to show us around and let us try his wines straight from the barrels, you can buy from him freshly made olive oil, different wines, he also offered us home made cheese and hams

Great agritourismo at the edge of Pienza

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Pienza and our three night stay at the Agritourismo San Gregorio. The location near the old town was perfect for us as it is only about 400 feet from the stop for the bus to and from Siena. From the San Gregorio, it is only about a five minute walk to the entrance to the old town. For drivers, the property has spacious parking. Our room was comfortable and it was pleasant sitting around our table on the adjacent deck which bordered a nice garden. Our experience with the owners was very positive and they added a great personal touch to our stay. For Walker's seeking a nice base for Tuscan hikes, Pienza is a good location. We used the local bus service to go to the hill town of San Quirico and then walked back to Pienza visiting the iconic Cappella della Madonna di Vitaleta along the way. As our second walking day was Sunday, when the buses do not run, we did another beautiful out and back walk to the hill town of Montecchiello.

Charming and comfortable with parking and a close walk to pienza

We stayed for two nights and loved the property. The room was very comfortable and clean with many amenities (small fridge, hot plate, water kettle, etc and they provide a bottle of the farms wine, plus water and milk). Each apartment has a little table outside and there are chairs in the garden out front which grow different nuts and fruits. Very convenient to Pienza, and there is a very robust guest book with recommendations. There is a tasting room too for their oils and meats and cheeses but we were too busy to be able to enjoy it unfortunately.

Perfect spot to visit Val d’Orcia

The Podere is strategically located close to the centre of Pienza and to the main road to access Val d’Orcia. It is really welcoming and the rooms are extremely well refurbished, with such an attention to details; the room and amenities were spotless clean. The owners are extremely kind. Definitely recommended!

Sehr schöner Bauernhof mit Tieren, tollen Menschen und einer tollen Unterkunft in Top Lage,

Die Lage war super, für einen kurzen Spaziergang in die Stadt Pienza. Ebenso ist Pienza ein toller Ausgangsort für die Südtoscana. Das Agriturismo war sehr schön mit einer ganz tollen Gastgeberin. Tolle lokale selbst hergestellt Waren, die auch am Bauernhof verköstigt werden konnten und verkauft wurden.

Authentique agriturismo aux portes de Pienza

L'accueil de Luciano, le maître de la ferme, 89 ans, son vin, son jambon, son pecorino. Vrai agriturismo familial aux portes de Pienza. C'est hyper pratique d'aller à pied en 10 mn en plein centre de cette jolie bourgade médiévale.

Seul problème, l'isolation phonique entre chambres : au rez-de-chaussée, on entend absolument tout (ce qui se passe aux wc compris) dans la chambre à côté, et sans doute vice-versa.

Wunderbare Unterkunft in perfekter Lage

Diese Unterkunft war perfekt: mit Terrasse und großem Garten, den man nutzen konnte. Die wunderbare Altstadt von Pienza war nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Die Nähe zu vielen kleinen mittelalterlichen Städten war großartig. Es gab ein großzügiges Willkommenspaket mit Milch, hauseigenem Wein, Saft, Kuchen, Keksen, frischem Obst und mehr. Das Haus selbst hat viel Ausstrahlung, die Gastgeberin war sehr herzlich - wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Und das eine ganze Woche lang.
