Overall a great place

Location and re interpretation of the mediaeval style

For 200€ per one night, i would have liked to have more utilities in the room. Like conditioner, not a cheap body soap, and personal hygiene tools. Breakfast was not included too, another not really amusing detail

Beautiful property, excellent staff

We really enjoyed our stay here, the property is beautiful and our room was great with a small kitchen space inside too. The room was very clean and comfy. We actually got engaged in the property garden -a beautiful location for it! The lady at the reception helped book a lovely dinner for us to celebrate close by and made the stay extra special. We also enjoyed a wine tasting in the winery. Can’t wait to come back again to visit!

Relaxing

Beautiful property in the country, great option to stay and relax during our trip. The staff were amazing, the vineyard it beautiful to stroll through, and the pool is perfect. Winery staff are very knowledgeable and made wine tasting feel very accessible.

Nice holiday

It’s a very nice location, we stayed in the two bedroom family apartment for two weeks. The rooms were big and nice. People were really nice and helpful. It’s a nicely kept area, especially the garden is very beautiful.

The apartment was overall okay, but there were several issues that affected our comfort during the stay. Firstly, the noise insulation is quite poor. You can hear everything from within the building and outside—especially if your apartment is located on the ground floor. We could clearly hear movements from the upper floors, which was not ideal. Additionally, service vehicles arrived as early as 07:00 in the morning to deliver groceries or bread, parking directly behind our apartment. As a light sleeper, I found it quite difficult to get a restful night’s sleep. The apartment had three bathrooms, but all of the shower cabins were extremely small. The kitchen was very basic—there was no coffee maker, toaster, or dishwasher, and the sink was quite small. The stove only had two burners, which made it challenging to cook proper meals, although I managed with some effort. The fridge was also small, and due to the way the kitchen cabinets were designed, it was difficult to open the fridge door fully. Overall, the kitchen space was very limited. Breakfast became repetitive quickly, with no variation from day to day—this can be disappointing if you’re staying for more than a few days. The pool itself is beautiful and well-maintained, but the water temperature was too cold for comfortable swimming during our stay in mid-May, even though the outside temperature was around 25°C. Another point worth mentioning is the door system. The apartment doors operate with a key card, and when unlocking the door, it makes a loud mechanical sound, which can be disturbing—especially if others come in late or early in the morning.

Lovely staff and location, but don't go here in the summer if you expect air conditioning

The staff were lovely and the location was quite incredible. The swimming pool was an added bonus for the scorching hot days.

Our air condition for room 3 was on, but made no difference to the room temperature, if anything it was cooler outside. When we stayed here we know the heat wave was going to impact us, but we chose this place because it said it had air conditioning. Sadly it seemed like it was 35c or higher inside the room and thus neither my partner or I were able to sleep.

BEAUTIFUL QUIET AND SUPER FRIENDLY STAFF

I loved that the staff were super friendly and accommodating and helped us with anything we needed fixed. The area is beautiful and i loved how quiet the hotel was. The views are and the rooms had me speechless. I loveeeee the windows in the room I couldn’t stop looking out them. The woman working at the winery is super friendly and deserves a raise she is so fun to talk to. She is learning english and we shared a fascination of her culture as she got to learn about american culture from us. Perfect countryside hotel!!!

I wish they had their own taxi service 24 hours or something because it is hard to get a taxi from florence to the hotel. I would recommend getting a rental car. Bring bug spray too!

perfect for a Tuscan weekend getaway!

the views were gorgeous! pool area was wonderful! the grounds were well kept and clean! rooms were spacious. lady who checked us in was kind and helpful. love that there were tables and chairs throughout the property to enjoy the views. beautiful modern feel and decor on the inside with a rustic feel on the outside, stunning.

we had 2 TVs in separate rooms and only 1 remote, not a huge deal but would’ve liked to have a remote for each room, found a couple little black ants in our bedroom but we assumed it was because we’re out on the hillside, nothing crazy or too bad.

The atmosphere and the location are no. 1. By car you can easily reach any destination. Close to Pisa and Florence as well. The rooms are clean and spacious. The surroundings are really beautiful and maintained. The view is spectacular.

The breakfast. I was aware of the fact that there is no dining area and the breakfast is served in a basket to the room, but it is not a good system. Especially with a small child, it is difficult to find out a day ahead what he will eat for the next day. This system is not convenient at all and quite annoying and because of this I would not choose this accommodation again or recommend it

the room we had could use an update, the old building style is nice, but bath and shower are also dated, some windows couldn’t be closed or darkened so we had to block the light by stuffing pillows in front of it. breakfast is basic and a bit overpriced for what it is

Basic B&B nearby Pistoia and Florence

The location is great because you're in between Florence and Pistoia which is convenient if you want to go out for dinner. Also the poolside is nice with a lot of beds in the shadow. And the room has aircondition.

We had some delay due to traffic and arrived a little bit later than mentioned. The staff was really unfriendly that night. Breakfast was also served in a basket that they bring to your room, instead of eating in the breakfast area. They said it was because of covid but there were no more restrictions anywhere at that time and in all the other places we've stayed you could eat in the restaurant.

Pleasant

The rooms were reasonably quiet, clean and spacious. The bed was a bit small but ok in comfort. The swimming pool area was nice as was the swimming pool, although a bit chilly.

Out kitchen was in a closet, the fridge was almost falling apart. It was well stacked. The shower head was dirty and in need of cleaning. The ‘air conditioning’ is and indoor circuit so you don’t get fresh air from outside, opening the windows was no option with the mosquitos.

Breakfast could have more options. If you book an apartment with kitchenett, you may opt to prepare your own breakfast. Broom and shovel in the apartment would have been nice to have.

Super facilities. Great location nearby cinque terre, siena & lucca. Rooms are large enough and clean. Great pool with comfortable seats next to it. Also bbq option was nice to have.
