A peaceful nature getaway with kind people, beautiful landscapes, and sweet touches of rural Italian life.

I loved how close it felt to nature. The peaceful setting, the open space, and the campi di mirtilli (blueberry fields) made it feel like a true countryside escape. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and I really enjoyed walking the grounds and seeing the beautiful wedding celebrations that happened while I was there. Everyone I met was kind and welcoming.

The location was quite far from everything, and I wish there had been a few more on-site activities or things to do during the day.

Pleasant

Great location in the middle of rice fields, super quiet and relaxing. No problem parking in front of the structure and plenty of outside area for childrens or pets.

The dinner and breakfast are prepared with very low effort, I would have expected something more. Especially for the dinner the price was extremelly low, but we would have gladly paid something more for more options and a bit more curated food. Another example, the agriturismo sells it's own jams but they are not available for breakfast. The rooms are clean and well furnished but very functional, there's not much eye for details. Except for the location and surroundings it feels a bit like being in a american style motel where price is optimized over customer experience.

A quiet farmhouse stay not far from Milan and Novara

Agriturismo Vignarello is on a working farm. We arrived in bad weather, but the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and even upgraded us to a luxurious suite. The heating was adjusted to make the room nice and toasty. We were the only one's for dinner that night, but we had a delicious meal with a local Novaresi Nebbolo topped off with dessert and grappa. The next day they were expecting 120 guests for dinner! Breakfast was served by the proprietor who introduced his products, some of which we brought home to Geneva along with a few cases of wine!
