Apartments Bašić

We love the location of the studio. Everything within was very clean and well organized. It was really close to Old Town and took maybe 15 minutes to be in heart of the alleys and shops. There are a lot of restaurants and grocery stores within 10 minutes of the studio. Walking to different places like the farmer's and fish markets is not a problem. That said, one of the best things about this studio is the kitchen. That is because with the fresh vegetables and fish, we were able to cook these to get a taste of what the locals can eat. The shrimp from the fish market was just fantastic and makes our local shrimps taste bland....no kidding! They were very sweet. We were so impressed we went back the next day for more and added pasta to the brew. The fresh vegi was great too. The studio is very close to local bakeries, and we enjoyed them with our coffee every single day and night when we were there. We had a laid-back affair here taking in tours and eating the best black risotto in the world at a local restaurant. All this was possible because of the kitchen and the local fare near this studio.

What's not to like? I wish there was a washer dryer near by.

Just a few small things easily fixable. Loose shower rail, loose toilet seat, poor light in the bathroom, non working bedside table lamp.

The location is excellent, very close to the Old Town and the Riva, so you can easily walk everywhere. The apartments are spacious and comfortable, and overall we had a pleasant stay.

Getting to the parking area is a bit of a challenge – not extremely difficult, but definitely an interesting experience. :) In one of the apartments, the window couldn't be opened and the bathroom fan wasn't working. Since it is an older building, this made the room feel a little stuffy. Other than that, everything was fine.
