Location is fantastic - it's a little ways from the train station, but super close and convenient to Dongdamen Night Market and there's a great breakfast spot nearby. Property has a very cool aesthetic, bed is very comfortable with an incredible blanket, and the shower pressure and temperature are amazing. Wifi is great throughout the property. I'll definitely stay here next time I'm in Hualien!

Great vibe and really nicely decorated. One of the best rooms we’ve stayed in Taiwan - it was big with great facilities and lots of light. A very comfortable stay. The location was good, very close to the night market! We had access to a communal area for water, fridge, seating area and some cooking appliances. There were also bikes available free of charge which was a nice touch.

Unfortunately there weren’t any staff available for the majority of our stay. This was great in terms of privacy but it means you have to be very specific about your arrival time to avoid waiting. We also didn’t get very good communication about check out which meant we couldn’t afford to leave our baggage at the hotel on check out day. We had to deal with big rucksacks until our late afternoon train which unfortunately was an inconvenience and really limited our day. They were also unwilling to give us WiFi codes for downstairs.

Amazing location, close to the park, night market, cafes and bus stop. Rooms were modern and clean and staff was super nice, we went to a karaoke bar together haha. My flight was canceled but it was very easy to change dates.

The reception is not open in the morning and you wont be able to store your luggage, but if notified in advance storage could be arranged easily.

The property is in a good location near lots of great restaurants and a short walk to the night market. The common area has an aesthetic feel, the owner clearly has good taste, and there are thoughtful touches in the room. Great shower with good hot water.

The rooms look a little different in photos than the reality and the room needs some maintenance (eg ours had a broken toilet seat). I also feel that refilling branded toiletries (used in photos) with generic soaps is a bit of a miss. We booked the hotel the night prior and although we sent follow up messages via booking.com to see if there would be any way to drop off our bags earlier, we didn’t receive a response. Despite the owner being at the property and us ringing the bell multiple times - they didn’t come to the check in desk until 3pm. We were also unable to leave our bags the following day without paying to extend our stay.
